2019, The Year of New Things and New Beginnings

Isaiah 42:9-10 (NKJV) 9 Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.” 10 Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you coastlands and you inhabitants of them!

Let us enter into 2019 full of our God’s hope, peace, love, and joy. Let us expect to hear His voice and see His hand working in our behalf. Let us expect to see the authority and power He has invested in the name of Jesus working in humanity’s behalf. Pray prayers with requests that are impossible to the carnal mind. Trust Him to lead us into all truth and show us things to come. Let us praise Him continually for who He is. The earth will bring forth its increase and we will experience His healing grace, in Jesus name! It is so!

Revelation 21:3-5 (NKJV) 3 I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

Let us expect the presence of our God to be with us as never before. Let us expect NOT to see the enemies of our past, having conquered them. Let us expect new beginnings and new opportunities. Our God IS Faithful.

Happy New Year!

Hosea 4:6a (NLT) My people are being destroyed because they don’t know Me.

The Gospel of Jesus The Christ leads us into the revelation knowledge of our Heavenly Father, empowering and authorizing us to use the keys of His kingdom, by His Word and Holy Spirit.

Our God has provided everything we need to live in the realm of His rule and right way of doing things.

He has provided everything we need to live in the realm where “every knee must bow and every tongue declare the Lordship of Jesus The Christ, AND the sovereign rule of our Heavenly Father, by His Word and Holy Spirit.

Our God has provided everything we need to walk in His character, ways, knowledge, understanding, wisdom, authority, and power in the earth. He has given us everything we need to establish His will in the earth, through Christ Jesus, His promises, and that by the help and guidance of His Holy Spirit.

Our God has provided us with so many spiritual keys (spiritual Truths) and each one leads to doors of revelation knowledge, deliverance, overcoming power and authority! Think about it; our God says we are destroyed because of our ignorance of Him, His character, nature, will, and way of doing things (Hosea 4:6). Does it not stand to reason that knowing HIM is the key to knowing all we need to live the overcoming Zoe life?

What is the purpose of deceiving or deception?
(1) Merriam Webster Dictionary (2015) lists one definition of deceive is “to cheat.” Rest assured; satan wants keep us ignorant of spiritual Truth so we will be cheated out of living in the power and provision of our God (John 10:10a).

(2) Another definition offered by Merriam Webster Dictionary is “to cause to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid.” Rest assured; satan want us to believe things about our God that are not true or valid. Remember Jesus told us the Truth we know will set us free to live as our God intended (John 8:32).

(3) Vine’s Complete Expository of Old and New Testament Words lists a definition of “to catch by a bait.” We are not ignorant of the tricks of the devil (2 Corinthians 2:11); we know satan sets temptations before us, hoping we will take the “bait” and be pulled off course or shipwrecked from our Heavenly Father’s will.

(4) Another definition offered by Vine’s Complete Expository of Old and New Testament Words is “to give judgment against or to condemn.” Isn’t it just like the devil to attempt to guilt or shame us into turning away from the love, power, and authority of our Heavenly Father, who has already told us that unrighteous judgment and condemnation has no place in the life of a believer who is genuinely seeking after Him (Romans 8:1).

Vines also lists the following definitions for deceive: (1) to cause to wander away from, (2) to lead astray from, (3) to miss the mark, (4) to fail, and (5) to cause to wander.

We must understand the purpose of deceiving or deception is to TO HIDE OR DISTORT TRUTH, KNOWLEDGE, AND WISDOM, and TO GET US OFF TRACK FROM FOLLOWING CHRIST! Why? Our Heavenly Father’s Truth, knowledge, and wisdom empower those who learn and use it AND Jesus shows us how to use our Heavenly Father’s Truth, knowledge, wisdom, authority, and power!

The kingdom of darkness seeks to keep humanity ignorant of (1) who our God is (our Heavenly Father, His Word (Scripture/Jesus) and His Holy Spirit), (2) how our God truly feels about humanity, (3) what our God, has, can and will do, along with (4) who HE has made us to be and do, which is demolish satan’s kingdom!

All of darkness is feverishly desperate to keep humanity ignorant of our God, our Christ, and ourselves. However, the spiritual Truth that shakes the foundations of the kingdom of hell can no longer be hidden!

This powerful spiritual Truth is found in Matthew 16:13-19. When Peter CHOSE TO BELIEVE IN AND FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST, he RECEIVED THE REVELATION KNOWLEDGE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND HIS SON! Jesus gave Peter the master key to all the keys of the kingdom (our Heavenly Father’s rule and way of doing things), which is the revelation of the Person and purpose of Jesus The Christ, Son of the Living God.

We must understand that this interaction between Jesus and Peter reveals that believing and knowing “who, what, why, and how” about Jesus opens our understanding of our Heavenly Father and our faith in Him equips us to operate (rule) in His power and authority.

The revelation knowledge of Jesus The Christ (found in the Gospel), reveals the love, power and authority of our Heavenly Father. The Gospel proclaims all that our Heavenly Father did for and through Jesus The Christ, He will do for all who believe. He empowers believers to bind the works and effects of evil, darkness and all contrariness to His will on and in earth, with His heavenly hosts backing our declarations, decrees, and demands!

The Key is knowing our God and His Righteous Rule. We learn who our Heavenly Father is by listening to, watching, and following Jesus Christ. This is what He mean in John 14:9 when He said to Phillip, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me? He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?”

The Gospel of Jesus The Christ IS the revelation of the walk of faith made available to all humanity because of our Heavenly Father’s love.

John 14:21(KJV) He that hath My commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth Me: and he that loveth Me shall be loved of My Father, and I will love him, and will manifest Myself to him.

Deliverance from spiritual ignorance is deliverance from the destruction of satan’s and deception. Jesus says to all that believe on Him:

John 8:31-32 (KJV) “If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Choose to believe and walk in our God’s Truth (as revealed in and by Jesus The Christ), to wield His power and authority to root up, pull down, destroy and throw down the kingdom of darkness.

Choose to believe and walk in our God’s Truth (as revealed in Jesus The Christ), to build, plant, and further His kingdom through prayer, decree, and declaration.

Our God, The Sovereign Operator

1 Timothy 2:1-6 (ICB) 2 First, I tell you to pray for all people. Ask God for the things people need and be thankful to Him. 2 You should pray for kings and for all who have authority. Pray for the leaders so that we can have quiet and peaceful lives—lives full of worship and respect for God. 3 This is good, and it pleases God our Savior. 4 God wants all people to be saved. And He wants everyone to know the truth. 5 There is only one God. And there is only one way that people can reach God. That way is through Jesus Christ, who is also a man. 6 Jesus gave Himself to pay for the sins of all people. Jesus is proof that God wants all people to be saved. And that proof came at the right time.

Our God is The Sovereign Operator, and He has no problem proving Who He is. In fact, He revealed Himself in Jesus The Christ, His Word made human. He has done all that He has done and said all that He has said, so that humanity would be enlightened and rescued from the clutches of a fully defeated foe. He has done all that He has done and said all that He has said, so that humanity would be able to walk into the safety of His Word (promises). We, being completely restored by His work (His operation) in Jesus The Christ, are able take our place of victory and authority (IN HIM). He, by His Love, grace, and power, have fully equipped and empowered us to subdue and take dominion over the enemy of our souls.  The Gospel of Jesus The Christ IS the revelation of the sovereign operation of our God!

One God, Many Operations

1 Corinthians 12:4-7 King James Version (KJV) 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

Definitions for the term operation are the working, or (1) the effect of, (2) the activity of, (3) the showing forth of might, effectualness, fervency, efficacy, potency, or power, (4) help or assistance. Other relative terms are assignment, brief, business, charge, detail, job, mission, post, course, procedure, process, application, use, productivity… (Strong’s Concordance; Merriam Webster Dictionary). All these terms apply to our God. It is just as it was in the Book of Genesis, all that our God does is good; He IS The Sovereign Operator.

We serve the Only True and Living God, Who spoke throughout the Old Testament, methodically building His blueprint with types and shadows of Who and what was to come. Then our Sovereign showed forth His might, effectualness, fervency, efficacy, potency, and power. He helped and assisted humanity, with His strategic and well-designed plan of redemption. He assigned His Word made human, charging Him to fulfill His detail and mission, to stay on His post until IT WAS FINISHED! Our God is The Sovereign Operator.

Watchmen, when we look seriously at our God operating in the Gospel of Jesus The Christ, we come to understand that all that He did, was done methodically and strategically. The Holy Spirit tells us of His wisdom and propensity for secrecy when it comes to the enemy of our souls, saying, “Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (1 Corinthians 2:8).

Our God is The Sovereign Operator Who is not obligated to explain anything to anyone; yet, in His Love and care for humanity, He says, “If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God Who gives to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him (James 1:5).

His Sovereign Operation Revealed in Jesus The Christ

Ephesians 2:4-9 King James Version (KJV) 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Beloved watchmen, the “working” definition given to me for our God’s grace is His Loving Help to be and do the impossible. We understand it was through the operation of our God’s grace (His Loving Help) that He did that which was impossible for us. He strategically allowed satan to create a debt that could not be repaid, when he crucified this sinless human, Jesus. What a strategic God! Life in found nowhere but in our God; satan owed Jesus His life, which he has not to give. This debt created the Way back to our Heavenly Father.  This is the Truth and Life; what a Strategist; what a Sovereign Operator!

Our God showed forth the power and authority of His Word in Jesus The Christ. Though maligned, mistreated, abused, and eventually murdered, His Word made human stood the test. Enduring all hell had to offer, He did not return to our Heavenly Father without fulfilling the mission. Debt paid, humanity redeemed, Jesus took back the authority and power stolen from Adam (male and female man; Genesis 5). He is now seated as our God’s Right-Hand Human, interceding for humanity.  Humanity has been completely restored to our high place in our God, in Jesus The Christ. Our God is The Master Strategist and Sovereign Operator.

Restoration: The Purpose of His Operation

Philippians 2:13 (AMP) For it is not your strength, but it is God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work; that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose for His good pleasure. It is not by our own power, might, or wisdom; it is by the power, might, and wisdom of our God alone that we produce anything good.

Philippians 1:6 (AMP) I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will continue to perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus, the time of His return.

Our God has made it His personal responsibility to walk us into victory, if we will believe. It is our obedience to His Truth that insures our wholeness and peace.

Romans 8:28-29 (KJV) 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Our God restores believers in His operation of grace (Loving help to be and do the impossible). His desire is that humanity return to His original, pre-determined high place of wisdom, power, and authority in Jesus The Christ. We can trust the sovereign operation of our God.

Beloved watchmen, let us launch out into the deep of our God, and get ready for a haul of souls, healing, deliverance, provision, …
Our God is The Sovereign Operator.

A Lord Worth Living For

Fellow watchmen all over the world, I do not recall exactly what I was doing or thinking today when the following Scripture was brought before me, by the precious Holy Spirit:

1 Peter 4:1-2 (AMPC) 4 So, since Christ suffered in the flesh for us (for you), arm yourselves with the same thought and purpose (patiently to suffer rather than fail to please God). For whoever has suffered in the flesh, having the mind of Christ, is done with intentional sin (has stopped pleasing himself and the world, and pleases God), 2 So that he can no longer spend the rest of his natural life living by his human appetites and desires, but he lives for what God wills.

I read and hear in video; therefore, as I pondered this Scripture, scenes of Jesus The Christ flashed before me.  I saw Him so disturbed by commercialism and capitalism in the temple, that he turned over tables and whipped people out of its yards (Matthew 21:12-16).  I saw Him weeping over His Beloved city of Jerusalem (Luke 19:41-44).  I was Him hungry, standing before a lying fig tree (Matthew 21:19-22).  I saw Him with His beloved disciples at the last supper, where he ate with one whom He knew would sell Him out to those who would seek to have Him crucified (John 13:1-30).   I saw Him taking dominion over His flesh in prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane while His disciples slept (Matthew 26:36-46).

I watched Him taken violently to stand before the religious leaders, then Pilate.  I watched Him, knowing He heard the taunts of people He would die for, as they cried out to save the life of a murderous thief, rather than His own.  I heard each blow, as they whipped Him with the cat-of-nine tails;  I watched the flesh being torn from His body.  (Mark 14:53 – Mark 15:15).

I watched as the detachment  of soldiers abused Him.  I heard them mocking Him as they stripped His body naked, as they prepared Him for the makeshift royal robe.  I watched as they beat and spit on Him.  I watched as they pressed the twisted thorny crown upon His head.  I listened to the mocking and cursing as they drove Him down the path of Via Dolorosa (the way of suffering).  I watched Him, beaten and blooded, too weak to carry the full weight of His cross to Golgotha.  I watched Simon of Cyrene share in the burden of His cross (Mark 15:16-21).

I listened to the thuds, as they drove the nails in His hands and feet; as they dropped the cross into it hole.  I watched the soldiers divide His clothing.   I saw the signed posted above His head in mockery.  I listened to the cruel words of bystanders and the religious leaders of His day; I watched Him suffer the contradiction of humanity, as He hang high, beaten, bruised and bloodied for us.  I watched, realizing satan used many methods to cause Him to be offended with humanity, or deny Himself (Mark 15:23-32).

I remembered that He refused the drink that would have anesthetized Him; He wanted to feel all the pain and suffering.  I listened as He spoke with the two thieves, as they waited for death to take them; even in suffering, He took the time to minister our God’s saving grace to another!   I watched Him as He secured the care of His mother!  I listened realizing that at the time the pain could very well have been at its worst; He said, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do!”  (Matthew 27:34-36; John 19-25; Luke 23:33-43).

I listened as the heart of a human child  who felt abandoned crying, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”   I heard Him say He was thirsty, indicating He was self-aware enough to know He desired liquid, rather than a painkiller.  I watched as they offered Him sour wine or wine vinegar to quench His thirst.  I heard Him say, “It is finished!  I heard the heart of our Lord and King, the Only Begotten Son of our God declare, “Father, into your hands I commit My spirit!” I watched Him hang His head and die! (Mark 15:34-36; John 19:28-30; Luke 23:46).

Through it all, I did not hear our Champion speak a single word against humanity.  I felt how much He and our Heavenly Father loves humanity (John 3:16).  Through it all, I did not see our Champion struggle against what He knew was His assignment and necessary; He knew and knows He IS the Resurrection (John 2:19; 11:17-44).  He knew His story contains the revelation of the Person, character, nature, authority, power, sovereignty… of the Most-High God (Hebrew 1:3; Colossian 2:9).  He knew and knows it is impossible for our God’s Word to return to Him void and empty of full execution and fulfillment (Isaiah 55:11).

Everything our God promises humanity, He fulfilled in the Person of Jesus The Christ.  He asks that we believe He is and that He is The Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).   IT IS FINISHED!  Jesus asks,

Mark 11:22-24 (KJV) 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Beloved, let us we look unto the One who authored and walked out the faith life of a son of God for our learning (Hebrew 12:2).  Let us consider the same God, His same Word (promises), and Holy Spirit Truth, wisdom, power, authority…  is available to us today.  May we recognize and continue to press on, realizing that we can do all things through Jesus The Christ, (our Faith Reference) whose True life and story gives us strength and encouragement (Philippians 4:13).

Lord, help us to deal with us, so that we please and live for You above all.  Thank You for giving us the information and tools to be successful.  We trust You.  We value our relationship with You above all things.  Work Your will in our lives, according to Your good pleasure.  We thank You, in Jesus name.

Amen and amen!

It is so!

God’s Watchmen, Soldiers of His Grace

The nature of a tried and true soldier of our God’s grace has learned the power and value of a humble, repentant heart.  A humble, repentant heart is a heart open to our God’s Truth, a heart that is correctable and willing to change its course. What an encouragement to know that even when we knowingly choose wrong over right, our God extends His mercy and grace when we repent. Restitution may be required and some suffering experienced; nevertheless, our God always embraces the truly repentant heart.

Being teachable, with the willingness to do our God’s Will, living His truth, and pursuing His character and integrity leads us into, or opens the door to His grace.  When God’s grace (Loving help to be and do the impossible) is upon us, we accomplish the impossible, do the unimaginable, and see the invisible.  But it must be our God’s will, His way.

Motivated by our God’s love, we must ask ourselves if there is anything in us that wants to show appreciation to the God that delivered us from hell? Is there any compassion in us that would make us reach outside ourselves, our struggles, our fears and comforts to help someone else, not for our own glory or benefit, but simply to further the effect of Jesus The Christ?

If we understand these things and practice them we are good soldiers of the cause of our God, in Jesus The Christ.

Proverbs 4:20-27

Verses 20-22 We must recognize that the Word of our God is the Source of our lives

(KJV) 20My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

(NLT) 20Pay attention, my child, to what I say. Listen carefully. 21Don’t lose sight of my words.  Let them penetrate deep within your heart, 22for they bring life and radiant health to anyone who discovers their meaning.

As a single-minded, single-hearted soldier of Jesus The Christ, our first attention, and loyalty is given to the words of our Commander in Chief.  We make it a point to know the mind, will and purpose of our Commander; and faithfully desire to maintain a committed heart to follow His guidance, as we carry out His will. We know this is the place of blessing (John 15:7).

We must honor our God first by doing all things the way He desires, equips, and empowers us to and with the right heart. We must honor Him even above any blessing; then His blessing will automatically be a part of our lives.

Matthew 6:33 (KJV) But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2 1And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

Verse 23 We must keep our hearts clear of anything that opposes our God’s Word.

(KJV) Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

(NLT) Above all else, guard your heart, for it affects everything you do.

We must judge all things by the Word of our God, and allow nothing to enter in our hearts, or affect our beliefs that do not agree with our God’s Word.

Verse 24 We must examine the condition of our hearts before we speak

(KJV) Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee

(NLT) Avoid all perverse talk; stay far from corrupt speech.

We must remove all perverted conversation from our speech and vocabulary.  Profanity is not something that Jesus would do.  We must keep check on what we say and the spirit in which we say it. We can say right words in the wrong spirit and come under the judgment of God, and open the door of our hearts to the tactics of the devil.

Matthew 12:43-45 (KJV) 43When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

If, after our God has delivered us, we intentionally allow ourselves to go back to anything He has clearly declared sin for us, we give satan inroads to our lives. The true enemy of our souls (minds, will, and emotions) then uses guilt and deception to do all he can do to get us into bondage again.  The deceitful, intruding spirit would have to be cast out; we then need our God’s grace to completely recover.  Soldiers of our God’s grace must operate in His love, as we stand in prayer and faith, as we work with our God to separate humanity from satan’s illegal captivity.  Freedom for all humanity has been redeemed by the blood of Jesus The Christ.

Verse 25-27 We must keep our focus on our God, His will, and His purposes

(KJV) Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

(NLT) Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you.

Jeremiah 29:11-15 (NLT) 11For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13If you look for me in earnest, you will find me when you seek me. 14I will be found by you,” says the LORD. “I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and bring you home again to your own land.

We must trust in our God’s ability to steer our lives.  Keeping our focus single will allow us to truly find out who our God is.  It is in that revelation that the purpose of our lives is revealed and becomes easier, and the blessings flow freely.

Verses 26-27 We must live according to the Truth that our God reveals to us

(KJV) Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.

(NLT) Mark out a straight path for your feet; then stick to the path and stay safe. 27Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.

We must watch and pay attention to the way we live.  We cannot afford to live haphazardly; we must live on purpose.  We must consider our ways, in accordance to the Word of God, so that we might enjoy the kingdom of our God.

Matthew 7:14 (KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is the life that Jesus spoke of in John 10:10. The Scripture tells us the Word of our God has come to be revealed to all humanity that we all may live His abundant life, (Zoe life; so rich that it enriches others).  Matthew 7:14 tells us that few will pay the cost, and get serious enough with God to tap into it, and walk it out.  Watchmen, we must not be afraid, nor apprehensive; we can trust our God and His grace.

Remember, our God has always had the best in mind for humanity.

Luke 2:10-14 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Watchmen, we are called to walk in our God’s grace, love, authority and power;     We are soldiers of the Most-High God!

Our God Builds by His Grace

Our God works (operates) in and through our lives by His grace (His Loving help to be and do the impossible).

Our God’s Grace for ALL Believers, in All Things, and All Places

Ephesians 4:4-10 (NIV) 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But to each one of us GRACE has been given as Christ apportioned it.  8 This is why it says: “When He ascended on high, He took many captives and gave gifts to His people.” 9 (What does “He ascended” mean except that He also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very One who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)

The Holy Spirit of our God, through our Apostle Paul, emphasizes the reality that we are One in and with Him through Christ Jesus.  He highlights the predetermined will of our God, and His plan to manifest the Truth that we are each part of the same Body, with one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism and one Sovereign God and Father.

The Holy Spirit inspires His apostle to highlight the Truth that each believer has been given grace (our God’s loving help to do the impossible), according to our assignment from His Anointed One.  In other words, every gift in our lives exists because of the grace of our God, because of His Love and will alone; we benefit from His grace; however, it is given for HIS purposes and goals.

The Purpose of Jesus’s Ascension (above all) Grace

The testimony of the Gospel of our God and His Christ is that His sovereign (above all) grace worked in, through, and on Jesus’s behalf,  equipping and empowering Him to sojourn through the earthly life, embrace the sting of death, and travel into the depths and heights of all creation, returning in full victory over evil (Philippians 2:5-11) .  He is our God-appointed Lord of all lords and King of all kings; through Him, believers are has granted access to all our Heavenly Father and all that He preordained for us.  We are restored, transformed and conformed into His image and sent (apostolic) into the world to enforce all He has accomplished.  By our God’s grace, we work to establish the kingdom of our God in the hearts of humanity; in doing so, we build the Body of Christ:

Ephesians 4:11-13 11 So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip His people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up 13 until WE ALL reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Matthew 28:18b-20 All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Our God’s purpose and goal in depositing and working His ascension grace in the lives of believers (as exemplified in Jesus The Christ) is so that we understand He uses OUR minds, mouths, hands, and feet to lay HIS foundation and build believers in HIS Truth, faith and love, that we may walk in HIS righteousness, that we make full use of HIS processes of repentance, regeneration, resurrection, transformation, and conformity.  By and through His grace, it is every Christian leader’s responsibility to train HIS people to hear HIS Voice, as WE ALL walk by His Word, in His Holy Spirit.  In this the sons of the Most-High God manifest in His Holy Spirit of Unity, Truth, and Love and the Body is built up together, conforming to the life and ministry, the express image of Jesus The Christ.  This is our God’s kingdom revealed.

The Result of the Working (Operation) of our God’s Grace

Ephesians 4:14-16 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Understanding of the working and application of our God’s grace, by faith, and according His plans and purposes brings the believer into maturity.  We come to know our God’s Presence, His character, nature, heart, mind, and will.  Unbelievers recognize we are disciples, followers of Jesus Christ because of the charity (giving Love) that flows from and among us.  We become a part of maturing and building process as we speak the Truth in Love, supporting one another with hearts that desire ALL mature and succeed.

Our God’s Grace for ALL who Believe

Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Romans 6:1-4 (NIV) What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Our God’s Loving help did that which was impossible for us, as He rescued our lives from destruction through His operations in the life, ministry, death, resurrection, ascension and seating of Jesus The Christ, our Savior and Lord. His will is that believers enforce the full manifestation of humanity’s rescue from deception and restoration by His sovereign grace, just as He revealed in Jesus The Christ (1 Timothy 2:1-8; Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38)).

Our God’s grace IS NOT is not a cloak nor license to sin and escape its cost or punishment; to believe this is to be self-deceived (Romans 6:1-2; 14-15).  Our God is gracious, knowing we are no match for satan and the kingdom of darkness without Him. He desires that none, not one perish, and has given His very best in providing our way of escape from the deception of satan, the flesh (sin nature), and the lasciviousness of this world, through Christ Jesus (2 Peter 1:2-8).

The purpose of our God’s grace working in human lives is to rescue, protect, provide for, and unite those who believe in Him and His work in Jesus Christ, the Head of the Ecclesia.  Our God’s grace IS sufficient, IS more than enough for us all.

May We Never Abuse our God’s Grace

Galatians 2:19-21 (NKJV) 19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

We must never neglect nor abuse our God’s grace, to do so is to toy with the wrath of our God.  Consider this as we read Jude 3-5 (KJV):

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.  4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

These verses tell us plainly that our God delivered His people from Egypt, yet had to destroy those who lived in rebellion because of the absence of faith in Him.  They displeased God, and their unbelief would be as a ravenous disease among the people.  This Scripture lets us know that judgment is assured for those who abuse and misuse our God’s grace.  Let us not be named among those who abuse our God’s grace, and be quick to repent when He convicts us for doing so.

May We Make Full Use of Our God’s Grace and Gift of Righteousness

Romans 5:15-17 (NIV) 15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

Understand, death has no claim or rule in the life of a believer in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.  Our God, by His Loving Help, doing the impossible through us and on our behalf conquered sin, death, hell, and the grave IN Jesus Christ! In the eyes of our God, each believer in all He has done took the beating IN CHRIST, was hung on the cross IN CHRIST, died and was buried IN CHRIST, arose and ascended IN CHRIST, and is now seated in heavenly places, as the Right -Hand authority of our God, IN CHRIST (1 Corinthians 15:54; Colossians 2:15; Romans 6:4-10)

Manifest sons of God, manifest.  Make full use of the loving help of our God, accomplishing the impossible through us, and on our behalf.  Hallelujah! Rise up with the Loving help, by the grace of our God.  We must ask for and expect our God for wisdom and knowledge of His purposes and plans for our lives and walk in the Light that He shines upon our steps and paths (James 1:5; Psalm 119:105).

We love You and so appreciative for loving help, for Your grace to do, receive and give that which is impossible for us alone.  We are grateful for every gift, talent, and ability.  Thank You for the diversity of the working of Your grace and that we have all sufficiency because You love us so.

Thank You for strong, relentless conviction when we neglect, abuse, and frustrate the grace upon our lives.  Thank You for teaching us the operation of Your grace in our lives.  Our confession of faith is, “We understand the working of our God’s grace in the lives of humanity and life around us.”

Thank You for the ability to discern Your heart, mind, and purposes, and for Your equipping and allowing us to join in with You and one another as we build the Body of Christ together.  Thank You that each part is supplying its portion at optimum levels.  The working of Your grace tells us that nothing spirit nor flesh can stand before us, because our lives are hidden in Your Christ, our Lord, Jesus.  Thank You for Your ascension, above all, sovereign grace working in, through, and on our behalf, as root up, pluck up, tear down and destroy the strongholds of darkness, and build Your kingdom in the hearts of humanity.  Thank You for the grace to take the kingdoms of this world for and by Your Christ.

Do all that is in Your heart, today and every day.  We open wide doors, windows, portals, and gates for the entrance of Your glory.  Show Your Arm, oh God.  Grace us with Your Presence.  We look with earnest hope to see Your hand moving in the land of the living.  We know our hope will not be disappointed.

In Jesus The Christ name, we pray.  Amen and amen.

The Grace to Face Down Death

1 Corinthians 15:54b-58 (NIV) 54b“Death has been swallowed up in victory.”  55 “Where, O death, is your victory?     Where, O death, is your sting?”  56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Watchmen all over the world, once we truly engage in spiritual warfare, we soon realize we must face down death.  Our God IS Life, who sent Jesus The Christ to restore His progressively abundant life to humanity.  In stark contrast, satan is death, whose operations are murder, theft, and destruction; all of which are the fruit and manifestations of loss in some form.  The focus of his operations is murder, theft, and destruction of destinies, as he and his cohorts work feverishly to prevent humans from coming into the revelation knowledge of our God; hell is terrified of manifested sons of the Most-High God.

As our God’s watchmen, we face down death by confronting and addressing the threats of his agents, the spirits of doubt, fear and intimidation, with The Truth of His Word, backed by His Holy Spirit and heavenly host!  Hallelujah!  As our God’s submitted servant warriors, we do not take no for answer:

James 4:7 (KJV) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Watchmen, we have each experienced deceptive thoughts, thoughts diabolically opposed to the Person, character, nature, and promises of our God.  These thoughts are sent by the contrary one; his strategy is to bombard us with threats against our well-being, our future, or someone/something we truly care for; his goal us to push us to yield and accept his lies as truth. This is then our undoing; therefore, we must stand strong, advancing by bombarding the kingdom of darkness with what we know about our God. Our God’s Word carries sovereign weight (authority and power).

Watchmen, we confront and conquer these spirits and their attempts to influence and control our thinking, believing and decision- making, by obeying the Word of our God:

2 Corinthians 10:5-6 (AMPC) 5 Inasmuch as we refute arguments and theories, and reasonings, and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One), 6 Being in readiness to punish every insubordinate for his disobedience, when your own submission and obedience (as a church) are fully secured and complete.

This is powerful Word for God’s watchmen!  We must understand and fully embrace the power, and authority available for our use; we must responsibly and fully commit to align our thoughts, speech, and behavior with our Great Example and Standard, Jesus The Christ (by His grace and mercy).  We stay in the press; trusting in our God’s love, and rejecting excuses.  We reject the lies and smokescreens of satan; we trust our God (The Only Righteous Judge) to settle all disputes, as we wage war in the spirit realm.  Nothing is hidden from, nor out of reach for our God (Hebrews 4:13; Isaiah 59:1).

 It IS Finished!

Ephesians 1:19-23 (NLT) 19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe Him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. 21 Now He is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else—not only in this world but also in the world to come. 22 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made Him Head over all things for the benefit of the church. 23 And the church is His body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with Himself.

Our Christ has fully faced down and conquered death; He has shone the marvelous, irresistible Light of our God’s Truth into the utter depths of darkness and deception.  The rulers of darkness, no matter the level, have no other recourse, but to bow when we speak our God’s Word in faith, sealed with the signet ring of Jesus’s name.

Our Christ has fully redeemed humanity, restoring our position, authority, power and all that was stolen by satan.  We are anointed to take it all back, with our God’s Word and the signet right of Jesus’s name.

Our Christ is the walking, talking, Living Tutorial of the fully restored life and faith of the offspring of the Most-High God.  Our lives are hidden in Him and He lives through us, in alignment with and by the power of our God’s Word and Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 2:14 (CJB) Thanks be to God, who in the Messiah constantly leads us in a triumphal procession and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of what it means to know Him!

Our victory over death is fully revealed in the Gospel of our God and His Christ.  Our God’s grace (loving help to be and do the impossible) is already available in Christ, by His name, and backed by our Heavenly Father’s Holy Spirit and heavenly host. Hallelujah!

The believer’s victory over death is clearly documented.  1 Corinthians, chapter 15 speaks of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, of the promised resurrection of believers who have gone before us, and of the transformation of believers who are here when He returns.  Our Apostle Paul prophesies to us by our God’s Holy Spirit, making clear that the same wonderful Holy Spirit who raised Christ from the dead, shall do the same for all who believe (Romans 8:10-11).   This is the Gospel of our God and His Christ; this is the power of God unto salvation, deliverance, healing, provision, and every good thing… for all who believe. Hallelujah!

Deuteronomy 9:3 (NKJV) Therefore understand today that the Lord your God is He who goes over before you as a consuming fire. He will destroy them and bring them down before you; so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the Lord has said to you.

Psalm 104:1-5 (AMP) Bless and affectionately praise the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty, 2 You are the One who covers Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretches out the heavens like a tent curtain, 3 Who lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters. above the firmament, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, 4 Who makes winds His messengers, Flames of fire His ministers. 5 He established the earth on its foundations, so that it will not be moved forever and ever.

Watchmen all over the world, we are the manifested offspring of the Most-High God.  We have already been graced by our God and His Christ to confront and face down death and the kingdom of darkness, just as Jesus did as He walked the earth.

Death is the servant of our God who ushers all who believe into the present of our God and His Christ when our spirits leave these earthen vessels (2 Corinthians 5:8).  We must know that death cannot take us, except our God allow; until then we must face down death, graced with His Truth (Scripture and Jesus), His Holy Spirit and the heavenly host.
