Let THE Church arise!

Sitting in churches, homes, and businesses, all over the world, there are people (men, women, boys, and girls), who have made the conscious decision that our God is real and true to His Word. All over the world there are people who are tired of simply “doing” church. These are faithful people, who do not:

(1) Use our God’s Word as a cloak for sin. They appreciate the conviction of the Holy Spirit and are quick to repent.

(2) Use our God’s people to satisfy their worldly needs, but live and teach others the economy of heaven, using their faith which is the medium of exchange in heaven.

(3) Use the resources of God’s people to build temporal monuments, elaborate houses and storehouses, but realistically supply the needs of their widowed, the hungry, the naked, the ignorant…, wisely restore the prodigal and backslidden, and genuinely evangelize the lost and unsaved.

(4) Manipulate the Scripture to suit their own beliefs, doubts, and struggles. They believe the Word of God is the mind of God, as it is written.

(5) Believe they can do anything good on their own, rather they believe their lives must be completely transformed through obedience to God’s Word, with the help of His Holy Spirit. They know they can accomplish nothing good or for God without true compliance and submission to His Word and Holy Spirit.

(6) Believe the lies and smokescreens of the devil; rather they know that the love, power, authority, nor any other characteristic of our God has diminished! They know our God alone is sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.

These are the people who, in spite of what goes on around them, study God’s Word, have Jesus Christ as their mentor, and depend on the guidance of the Holy Spirit. These are the people who will stand strong against the temptations, manipulations, enticements, and enchantments of satan. These are the people our God spoke of when He said:

Daniel 11:32b
(CJB) The people who know their God will be strong and will resist him (satan).
(KJV) The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

2 Timothy 2:15-19 (NLT)
Verse 15 Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive His approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the Word of Truth.

The Apostle Paul instructs believers to follower their leaders, as their leaders follow Christ (1 Corinthians 11:1). We are to follow no one (human, spirit, word, or no thing) without measuring their fruit (thoughts, beliefs, words, actions) with the character and heart and Word of our Heavenly Father, the mind of His Christ and the behavior of His Holy Spirit.

Verses 16-18 Avoid worthless, foolish talk that only leads to more godless behavior. This kind of talk spreads like cancer, a as in the case of Hymenaeus and Philetus. They have left the path of truth, claiming that the resurrection of the dead has already occurred; in this way, they have turned some people away from the faith.

Intellectualism, (which is the result of exalted trust in human cognitive abilities) is the result of interpretation and application of the law absent of the Holy Spirit. Our God’s ways and thoughts are so far above and beyond our own; therefore, we must study to know His mind (according to His witness), rather than deciding with our limited understanding, and conditioning. We must avoid foolish “doctrine” that contradicts the full counsel of God, soberly desiring to avoid being a stumblingblock to others.

Verse 19 But God’s truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription: “The LORD knows those who are His and “All who belong to the LORD must turn away from evil.”

We have to believe our God when He tells us we have an enemy who roams about seeking to consume the life of any human (those who were made in the image and likeness of God from the beginning). We may stumble; perhaps fall, but noone who truly belongs to God practices sin in peace! Our God knows those who are His!

We, God’s Watchmen, stand on the perimeters of the earth and speak to its four corners commanding the genuine Church of Jesus Christ to:

“Arise; arise in the name of Jesus! Rise up out of the ashes left from the burning away of fleshiness and carnality by the fire of trials, tests, and temptations. Rise up and you will find that your flesh has been dominated by God’s grace and Truth, to the point that He is able to reveal Himself at much greater levels than our eyes have seen, our ears have heard, than anything that our hearts have imagined. Rise up and know that the Word of our God and His Holy Spirit has done a great work in us!

Rise up and declare that we are well able to conquer and overcome everything standing between us and the will of our God for our lives. Rise up realizing there are more for us than there are against us. Rise up knowing the war is already won by our Champion, Jesus Christ, and satan is totally and completely defeated. Rise up knowing that our Heavenly Father has given us a name that carries the full weight of His glory; He has given us the name of Jesus. Rise up knowing that at the name of Jesus, spoken in faith, every knee (whether flesh or spirit) must bow and acknowledge His Lordship.

Rise up knowing our God is the Master Finisher! Rise up knowing the “vision,” the “Word” He spoke to us many years ago will still come to pass. Rise up knowing we will receive harvest on the seed we have sown, and we will know our harvests when they come. Rise up knowing that our assignments will become more and more clear as we purpose in our hearts to follow Christ. Rise up knowing no matter what, our God has the final say. Arise!

Church of the Only True and Living God, rise up knowing the best is yet to come!”

Warnings, Encouragement, and Instruction

In the early hours of the morning, I awoke to a vision. In this vision, there were many numbers floating in the air. This numbers would pair off with sums of 13 and disappear.

I asked our God what I was seeing. The response, “This is the sign of the end times, when all will come together as I have foretold, when darkness will be completely swallowed up in Light. I have told My people what this time will look like and I have made them a promise.

I was taken to Luke 21 and read the many things Jesus told His disciples about the end times.

I see the promise:

Luke 21:18-19 (NKJV) 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls.

Our God tells us, He will take care of us, if we will quiet our souls (mind, will, emotions) and patiently wait on Him.

Then I see the warnings:

(1) Luke 21:8 (KJV) 8 And He said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and the time drawled near: go ye not therefore after them.

As students of the Word, of our God and His Christ, we will know those who are not of our God, and we must not follow them.

(2) Luke 21:9-11 (KJV) 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.10 Then said He unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Dangerous, tumultuous times will come, with threats and much destruction; we are not to be afraid knowing these times are associated with the end times.

(3) Verses 12-17 warns us that we will be challenged because of our faith, even family members and loved ones will turn against you.

(4) Verses 20-25 warns us of the things that will take place in Jerusalem.

Our God then encourages us:

(1) Luke 21:25-28 (KJV) 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Our God encourages us, saying as all these things take place around us, we must keep looking to Him, for our redemption is close.

(2) Luke 21:29-31 (KJV) 29 And He spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Again, our God encourages us to remember that all we see happening around us is evidence of His promises coming to pass.

Our God gives us instruction for life, during these times:

Luke 21:34-36 (NIV) 34 “Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

Our God warns us to be sober minded; to walk circumspect so that we are not caught up in the party mentality (even in church) of the world. We are to take heed to our lives so that we do not become intoxicated on the things the world has to offer, so that we are not anesthetized (put to sleep) spiritually. We are to watch and pray, trusting our God, so that the concerns of life do not overtake us. It will be through faith and prayer that we will escape that which is to come and kept so that we are about to stand before our Christ in faith.

It is past the time

People of God, it is past the time to believe our God. It is past the time to know that He loves us and already made provision for us to win, no matter the test. Even in death, we win.

It is past the time to walk in the Holy Spirit of Love, Truth, authority, and power, It is past the time to partake in spiritual warfare, safely nestled in the armor of our God, and seated in The Christ, His Right Hand of authority.

It is past the time to bind the activity of satan in the earth and loose the hand of our God in this realm, so that He can do all He pleases. It is past the time to know that our God’s Word is true and sure.

It is past time to be about our Father’s business. Let us thank Him for souls. Let us thank Him for ministers after His own heart, who minister His Word, with His heart, backed by His power.

It is past the time to thank Him for writing His Word, His principles, His laws in the minds and hearts of humanity so that all know Him and His Christ. It is past the time to thank Him for pouring out His Holy Spirit so that all prophesy of Him and His Christ.

It is past the time stand with that Bride and the Spirit crying, “Even so, come Lord Jesus!” It is past the time to know that our God IS working in us to do His good pleasure AND that He will prepare for Christ’s return.

It is past the time to know that He knows those that are His and that in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, He can evangelize the world, collecting every soul that is His. It is past the time to know that OUR GOD IS GOD!

People of God, let us be about our Father’s business, according to His way and will. We have been warned, encouraged and instruction. We are without excuse.

Dangerous Traditions

(Spiritual Common Sense)

We know the role of God’s watchmen is to sound the alarm, to fight the good fight of faith, in behalf of God’s people, and of course, for ourselves. We know our God anoints us to expose and destroy the works and plans of the enemy of His Kingdom, and that by the power and authority of His Word and Holy Spirit. Our God has a way of stripping off the glam and glitter and getting to the root of the problem. He wants to expose another subtle working of satan:

One day, as I washed my dinner dishes, the Holy Spirit took my mind back to earlier experiences in church, as His presence was made known. I remember the times when His presence (the Morally Excellent Spirit of Love and Conviction) was so strong that men, women, boys, and girls wept shamelessly in His presence. I remember I once melted from my seat and crawled to the altar of His Love, knowing He was gracious and merciful, that He was more than willing to help me be the person He designed me to be.

I heard my spirit man ask our God why the Body of Christ (as a whole) is not experiencing this measure of anointing today. I heard Him say, “I have not changed.” I realized “we” have. I prayed and released my cares to our God regarding the matter and went to bed, knowing He would further enlighten me.

The next morning, after my personal quiet time and Forerunner prayer with our Lord, I sensed a heaviness in my heart. Examining my thoughts, concerns, situations, and surroundings I realized this heaviness had a particular purpose. I turned to watch a broadcast of a fellow minister of the Gospel and found myself even more grieved than before. I asked the Lord what was going on in my spirit man; He reminded me of my experience the night before. Then I heard His Word from the Apostle Paul:

Brethren, when I came to you, I came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:1‐5) .

I was floored when our God revealed why my soul was disturbed. Truth is, I have grown weary of good preaching and teaching alone; where are the works of God that confirm our faith? Our God has not changed, and He is not a respecter of persons. What He did for Jesus, the Apostle Paul and others, He is more than willing to do for us.

Another Tradition
Then I heard our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ:

Mark 7:9; 13 (KJV) 7 He said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. 13 Making the Word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

The truth is, to a great measure today’s church has made good preaching and teaching, the end all of its “services”.  As a result, God’s people’s faith lies more in the oratorical skills of the speaker, to include their physical appearance, familial and educational background, socio‐economic status, their ability to enunciate, exegeses, prophesy, and dramatize the Scripture. Humans confirming the validity of the minister by these statuses and capabilities; HOW CONTRARY THIS FOOLISHNESS IS TO THE MIND OF OUR GOD!

Our God Alone Validates
Our God validates and backs His Word and delegated authorities with HIS AUTHORITY AND POWER. WE MINISTER BY THE GRACE OF OUR GOD, ACCORDING TO OUR FAITH IN HIM and He responds with power and demonstration of His Holy Spirit, confirming what was spoken!

What is at the Root of all this?
Why are we not seeing our God back His Word and ministers? The Scripture tells us it is because of the LACK OF FAITH!

What causes us to have a lack of faith?

• The failure of Christian leaders to teach the True Gospel of Jesus The Christ, in all its Truth, love, suffering, authority, power, and complete victory.

• Our lack of study and application of God’s Word. Our failure to accept our Heavenly Father God for who He says He is, according to the witness of His Word (Jesus/Scripture) and His Holy Spirit.

• Our self‐reliance, independence and self‐trust

• Our lack of sincere surrender or submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and our God’s Word as the Sovereign Truth

• Our failure to renounce sin (call sin, sin; repent; ask for God’s help to overcome the sin nature that wars against our born again spirit)

• Our practiced disobedience (the backslidden make excuses for sin; captured believers weep and seek deliverance from sin)

• Our prayerlessness (genuinely spending time in our God’s presence strengthens our faith and convicts us of all contrariness in our lives)

• Our failure to resist fear, doubt, pride, selfish, envy, hatred and every other negative, sin conceived emotion

• Our having mental condescension to the Word of God, without genuinely choosing to believe

• Our lack of genuine gratitude for all our God has done (evidence that we have walked away from, or never knew our God)

• Our dishonor of God by disobedience to His known will (our God does not make clones; we must know Him for ourselves)

• Our failure to receive conviction and correction

• Our failure to repent

• Our believing and magnifying problems and satan above the Truth, Love, power, and authority of our God

• Our loving the world, resulting in our thinking, speaking, and behaving like the world

• Our belief of erroneous doctrine (teaching and beliefs), because of our failure to judge all things by the Word, character, Person, and Spirit of our God.

(Note: This list is not all inclusive, and I have been guilty of them all. Thank our God for repentance and His faithfulness!)

NOW is the time for God’s ministers (all over the world) to take responsibility for our foolishness and open our hearts before our God. We must ask Him to show us all that is in us, that keeps us from walking in HIS confirming power and authority. NOW is the time to align our HEARTS AND MINDS with the HEART AND MIND OF OUR GOD, so that HIS CONFIRMATION (miracles, signs, and wonders of mass salvation, conversion, restoration, healing, deliverance, provision, and every other good thing that is part of the believer’s inheritance) can manifest in our ministries and in the lives of those we SERVE.

Pray Watchmen Pray
Watchmen, let us pray that the Holy Spirit of conviction fill the hearts of our God’s servants all over the world, that we cast our crowns at the feet of our Savior and weep, if not for ourselves for our brothers and sisters, and the unsaved who have been robbed by the slight of humanity and the cunning of satan. May our God forgive us for being satisfied with so little. May the kingdom of darkness woefully rue the day they planted this seed of iniquity among our God’s people.

Father God,
Our hearts cry out to You; MAKE US REAL! We free Your hand. Do all that is in Your heart. Just as You declared so long ago, judgment must begin at the household of faith. Correct us quickly Father. Thank You for second, third, fourth and fifth chances to get it right. Let Your servants know it is never too late to repent and get back in the fight that is already fully won, by Jesus The Christ, our Savior, Lord, King, and Messiah.

You said Your eyes search to and fro, looking for someone to show Yourself strong in behalf of. Father, we are here; we are repentant, and we are calling on Your name. We are saying with our whole hearts, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, in our lives and in the earth.” Do all that is in Your heart today and every day.

Thank You for Your faithfulness to preparing the Body of Christ for the return of our Savior, Lord, and King, the Messiah Jesus The Christ. Thank You for saving souls and raising up the Remnant, who will once again fully take up Your cause, with the confirmation of Your power and authority. Thank You for raising up men, women, boys, and girls, full of Your faith and Your Holy Spirit, who will do the greater works declared by Jesus Christ, our Lord. Your Word does not return to You void; we are watching and waiting.

We love and appreciate You. Even so, come Lord Jesus! We believe, we receive as we pray, knowing You are faithful to Your Word and to us.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen, amen, and amen.

The Testing of our Faith is Part of the Process

Spiritual Common Sense

Each genuine believer must be delivered from contrariness to God, which operates in our own hearts, first and foremost. We must ask ourselves if we will choose to believe our God, and willingly seek His opinion, insight, and instruction, no matter the situation. The testing of our faith (what we genuinely believe) is necessary, if we are to move from faith to faith, and glory to glory in our transformation into the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:28-29).

Deuteronomy 8:2 (NLT) Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wilderness for these forty years, humbling you and testing you to prove your character, and to find out whether or not you would obey his commands.

Our God does not “test” us Himself; rather He does not rescue us, but allows us to “take ourselves” or “be drawn into situations” so that we can see what is in our own hearts. He already knows if we will honor His will and way. He is not sadistic, or masochistic. No, His intent is that we prosper and be in health, even as our souls proper (3 John 1:2). We must first; however, recognize and acknowledge sin and rebellion in our own hearts, before we can genuinely repent. Genuine repentance then opens our lives up for our God’s intervention and blessing.

Psalm 66:10-12 (NASB) For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined. You brought us into the net; You laid an oppressive burden upon our loins. You made men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water, yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.

Zechariah 13:9 (NASB) “And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are My people,’ And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.'”

Watchmen, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal which is taking place to test you, (that is, to test the quality of your faith), as though something strange or unusual were happening to you. Remember that you are sharing Christ’s sufferings and keep on rejoicing, so that when His glory (filled with His radiance and splendor) is revealed, you may rejoice with great joy (1 Peter 4:12-13 AMP).

Yes, we are to walk through testing, and live each day as if Christ could return in all His glory. As the fire of our God’s love, protection, and correction changes our lives, we must also remember that His glory will first be revealed in us, His Body, the Church. We must remember the value and results of the trying, testing, and molding of our faith:

James 1:2-4 (NASB) Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect (mature) and complete (whole), lacking in nothing (having faith that manifests your needs).

As our God’s Word and Holy Spirit teach us, life, the world and darkness come to test what we believe, to see if we genuinely believe with our hearts (Mark 4:14-20). Passing the tests equips us with new/deeper revelation of our Heavenly Father, the mind of Christ, and the power of His Holy Spirit. This is part of the process of spiritual maturity and promotion. Our God wants us to trust Him, His Word, and ways, as He grooms and grows us up, as He restores our lives to HIS original intent.

Our God’s Love, companionship, and training equip us to operate in the power and authority of His Word and Holy Spirit. The guidance of His character, Word and Holy Spirit, (as They walk us through the traps of life, the world, and darkness), provides the understanding and sound spiritual judgment needed to tear down the kingdom of darkness, as we build the Kingdom of our God.

The Word to God’s Watchmen all over the world today is a resounding, “Fear not!” There is no need to fear if our God is leading. How do we get our God in the driver’s seat of our lives?

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

James 1:5 (KJV) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

We must get and keep our God involved in our affairs. Purpose to never leave His presence, or escape His watchful eye. Expect, without wavering, His answers, and guidance.

The following is a reminder of the things Jesus Christ said during His time on earth; the Holy Spirit would put us in remembrance so that we do not faint and lose heart; so that we continue steadfast and immovable in our faith towards our Heavenly Father, His Word (Scripture/Jesus), and His Holy Spirit. No man knows the hour that the Son of man shall return. We can; however, be prepared and properly informed.

Luke 21:8 And He said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
Jesus knew that false prophets and teachers would be at work in the “church.” It is our job to believe our God is greater and stronger and that His Word does not return void and empty, as we pray, decree, and declare His will in the earth.

Luke 21:9-11 When ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: Great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Are we genuinely surprised when we see or hear the news from around the nations? Did not our God speak through His Son warning humanity of the things to come? We must not be moved by what we hear, see, or feel; we must purpose in our hearts to be moved by the character, Word, power, and authority of our God alone.

Luke 21:12-15 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. It shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

We must purpose in our hearts never to be afraid of the faces of any, but trust and follow our God’s lead in all things. He will speak through us if we allow Him to do so, and He knows just what to say. He speaks the language of the hearer (Acts 2:6).

Luke 21:16-17 Ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. Ye shall be hated of all men for My name’s sake.

Darkness hates light, even when it exists in one of our loved ones. We must remember it is not truly us, but the God in us, who is the Light. The hatred and contradiction of humanity did not change Jesus’ mode of operation. He continued to listen to the voice of our Heavenly Father and followed the guidance of His Holy Spirit. We must do the same.

Luke 21:18-19 There shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls.

We must remember, when we leave all to our God’s care and guidance, He alone has the final say. When He says yes, no one can contradict Him. We must lay our lives on the altar of His love, trusting Him to keep His Word, causing all things to work together for our good. We are patience; we endure without fear, without doubt.

James 1:12 (NASB) Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Living life in abundance is living in the faith, glory, power, and authority of our God. Our faith must be tested.

We will walk through life, the world, and darkness filled with confidence in our God. We will not fear the testing of the genuineness of our faith, knowing that our God’s Love, Joy, Peace, Goodness, Gentleness, Longsuffering, Faithfulness, Meekness, and Self-control, will see us through until the end of the matter. We know the end of the matter is that “WE WIN!

We love You. We trust You. We set our faces like flint to do Your will. We understand the testing of our faith is necessary. We are mature enough to recognize and know that testing is good for us. We are grateful that even though we fail a test, You are right there instructing us anew.

Thank You for the nuggets of gold that we have gained through our tests and struggles. Thank You for Your plans for our lives, and that You are walking us into them. We are grateful that You have the final say in our lives.

We open wide doors, windows, and gaps for You to enter in. We ask that You do all that is in Your heart. We thank You in advance for all that we are learning. We thank You in advance for the understanding, wisdom, and revelation knowledge we receive. Thank You for greater levels of power and authority that comes with it all.

We trust Your character, Word (Scripture/Jesus), and Your Holy Spirit to continue to lead, guide, direct, keep and provide for us. We thank You for making us more and more like Jesus, and therefore, like Yourself. Again, do all that is in Your heart, today and everyday. In Jesus name we pray. Amen and thank You.

Take Heed: The Danger of Misrepresenting Our Potter

More Spiritual Common Sense

Jeremiah 18:3-4 (KJV) Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. The vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

We understand that the potter in this Scripture refers to our Creator, our God. We understand the earth is His, along with every human living in it (Psalm 24:1). We understand the land, the waters, all vegetation, all animals, fowl, and every water creature is subject to His Sovereignty, to do with as He wills. He alone IS and HAS the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, power, and legal authority needed to determine the purpose and destiny of His creations.

Our Heavenly Father invested all power and authority in Jesus Christ, whom He deputized to use His investment to exemplify His wisdom and might in the earth, expose darkness and conquer, overthrow, and totally defeat evil. His desire is that we follow Christ’s pattern and do the same.

We are to express the image of our Father, as His manifested sons
Our Heavenly Father’s intent is to renew our minds (thinking, believing, and choosing), and transform our lives (from faith to faith and glory to glory) into the image and likeness of His Son (the human/Word Jesus), who is JUST LIKE HIM (Romans 12:1-3; Romans 1:16-17; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Hebrews 1:3)!

Our God has entrusted to and invested the same power, authority, wisdom, and might in all who receive AND believe in His Son.  When we commit to doing His will, His way, with His heart, His Word and Holy Spirit transform us and we become like Him (John 1:12).  He equips us to do the works Jesus did. Jesus our Lord and Chief Intercessor (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25) says the following:

John 14:12 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father

If our God, The Master Potter, is our Father, where is His Honor?
Just as Jesus asked, “Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? (Luke 6:46; KJV),” our God inquires, “A son honors his father, and a servant his master. Then if I am a Father, where is My honor? If I am a Master, where is the reverent fear and respect due Me? (Malachi 1:6a; Amp)”

We will never produce the character of our God, if we operate in self-will. We must ask, as did the Psalmist, that our God create clean hearts and renew right spirits in us. We must ask Him to purge all contrariness to His will from our lives so that we can allow Him to produce His nature in us (2 Peter 1:4).

Exhibiting the nature of our God and His Christ

Proverbs 4:23 (AMP) Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life.

How important is it to guard our hearts from negative emotions and self-will in our walk as Christians! Our God’s desire is our restoration to reflect His character, image, and likeness in the earth. Self-will opens the door to the operation of the flesh. Some of us confuse self-will with self-control. Meditation on God’s Word with His Holy Spirit dispels the darkness that seeks to hide the difference.

(1) We do not live in self-will (busily pursuing our own thoughts and desires without regard for our Heavenly Father’s knowledge, understanding, plans, purposes, input, guidance, power, and authority). Human moral character (righteousness) is as filthy rags, compared to our God’s (Isaiah 64:6), and our human ways and thoughts are as different from our God’s as the heavens are high above our heads (Isaiah 55:8-9). No one is capable of fulfilling the will of our God without the government and guidance of our Heavenly Father’s Word (Scripture/Jesus) and His Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10).

(2) We do live in godly self-control, meaning, we allow our Heavenly Father’s Word (Scripture/Jesus) to be the standard for our lives, and His Holy Spirit to permeate and govern our human spirit. Our God; therefore equips and empowers us to take righteous, God-guided control of our souls (mind, will, and emotions), and bodies. We do all things through Christ (our Heavenly Father’s Anointed Word), which give us the strength to endure, overcome, and conquer our flesh nature, with all its contrariness to the will and ways of our God (Philippians 4:13).

Understanding the difference between godly self-control and self-will keeps us from misrepresenting the heart of our Heavenly Father, the Master Potter. Understanding the difference between godly self-control and self-will aids us in producing His character, His way. Godly self-control is one of the fruit (evidence) that the Holy Spirit, the very presence of our God is living and at work within us (Galatians 5:22-23).

Consider Moses
Moses, though he spoke with our God face to face (Numbers 12:8), allowed his frustration with his “church family” to cause him to operate in self-will rather than godly self-control.

Numbers 20:7-12 (AMP) 7 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 8 “Take the rod; and you and your brother Aaron assemble the congregation and speak to the rock in front of them, so that it will pour out its water. In this way you shall bring water for them out of the rock and let the congregation and their livestock drink fresh water.”

9 So Moses took the rod from before the Lord, just as He had commanded him; 10 and Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly before the rock. Moses said to them, “Listen now, you rebels; must we bring you water out of this rock?” 11 Then Moses raised his hand in anger and with his rod he struck the rock twice (instead of speaking to the rock as the Lord had commanded). And the water poured out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank fresh water.

12 But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you have not believed (trusted) Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, you therefore shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Moses’ failure to represent the heart, mind, will, and ways of our God cost him the opportunity to enter into the Promised Land with the others. Perhaps this is the lesson that moved the Apostle Paul to say, “Be angry, but sin not (Ephesians 4:26). Moses (as God’s representative) failed to properly represent our Heavenly Father before His people. He allowed his fleshy fallen nature to dominate, as he rebelled against God, and responded to the situation in self-will, rather than exercising godly self-control and responding according the “known” will of God.

In addition, what did Moses mean by “must WE bring you water?” Self-will always, always carries an element of pride and self-righteousness. Moses nor Aaron were capable of releasing water from a rock, absent of the power and authority of our God, who gave them simple instruction to follow. Even though our God was misrepresented by Moses, His compassion and mercy released the water, causing it to flow. Though disrespected, our God met the needs of His people. Thank God other people’s failures do not have to shipwreck our lives. Our God will provide and keep His promises.

Spiritual Common Sense
Think about it, a sensible human father would not deny his child an absolute need, such as water or food. Our God is our Good Father, and promises to meet our needs according to our faith (Philippians 4:19):

Luke 11:11-13 (KJV) 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?

Moses actions could lead God’s people to think God was angry with them for asking for water (an absolute necessity for human life). Such action from a person who says they act and speak in behalf of our God could shipwreck their faith or alter their image and understanding of our God’s heart and nature; therefore hindering their ability to have an intimate relationship with and trust towards our God.

Spiritual Common Sense
Our God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:12). If He did not spare Moses for misrepresenting Him, He will not spare us either when we rebel, particularly when our rebellion affects the faith life of others (Matthew 18:6-7). If you are guilty of misrepresenting God, repent and ask Him to show you if you need to seek someone out and make it right.

Take heed to this warning, so that together, we can properly represent our God to those around us, as we work with Him to propagate His will in the earth.

We thank You for all You are, and all You do and have done. Our sincere desire is to walk out the Truth of Your Word before You. We trust You; do all that is in Your heart. Speak to us; give us the grace to receive the changes that are yet to come. Thank You that Your Word and Holy Spirit are transforming our lives. Help us Father, to be quick to do Your will in our lives.

Thank You for teaching us the difference between self-will and self-control. Thank You for working with us, enabling us to represent You properly in the earth. We yield to you. Do all that is in Your heart today and everyday.

In Jesus name we pray, amen, amen and amen.

Exposing the Lack of Spiritual Common Sense in the church

Spiritual Common Sense (prudence) delivers us from spiritual foolishness, the doctrine of humans and devils, and deception. We need spiritual common sense.

After a few “interesting” experiences, my spirit man asked our God if there were such thing as spiritual common sense, in light of the full counsel of His character, Word, will, power, and authority. His answer was a resounding yes.

Our God has graced me to walk among believers from many denominations, (with many variations of doctrine).  He equipped me to do so without fear because He has established my heart in the following Truths:

(1) Jesus Christ the Word of our Heavenly Father made human

(2) He is His Only Begotten Son who took on the sin of the world, paying the penalty of the falling short of the assigned Glory of our God (the image, likeness, reflection of the Heavenly Father in the earth) by humanity

(3) He, (the First Fruit of all to be restored to our Heavenly Father’s original intent) was resurrected with all power and authority

(4) He seats at the right hand of the Father, in authority, interceding for all humanity AND

(5) He IS coming back, and we all will stand before Him to receive just judgment and reward.

Without prejudice, I know all genuine followers of Jesus Christ are my faith family, no matter what “piece or pieces” of doctrine are used to separate us from one another. Our Heavenly Father has taught me to be willing to allow Him to settle all such matters on the Day of Judgment.

Exposing the Lack of Spiritual Common Sense in the church
The Lord impressed upon me long ago, “I will offend the mind to get to the heart.” I personally do not intend to offend anyone with the things I will share; however, I do intend to speak the Truth and righteous judgment of our God, as He reveals it. Therefore, I share a few of my experiences, and release our God’s revealed mind regarding them into the spirit realm.

Because we know our God’s Word (His Truth) does not return to Him void or unproductive, we praise Him in advance that the blind will see Jesus Christ as never before, the deaf will hear HIS voice, and the lame will walk into the perfect/mature will of God. We praise Him that those who have been held captive in spiritual foolishness are released in Jesus name! Hallelujah!

A Not So Recent Experience
While visiting a denominational church, when I heard a sister say to the Bible Study class, (I paraphrase), “We are trying so hard not to be like other Christians and denominations that we have become all-inclusive and irrelevant.” Upon hearing this, 2 Corinthians 10:12 (NLT) dropped into my heart:

Oh, don’t worry; we wouldn’t dare say that we are as wonderful as these other men who tell you how important they are! But they are only comparing themselves with each other, using themselves as the standard of measurement. How ignorant!

I wondered if this very insightful woman knew she alluded to the reality that she was serving in what can only be described as a cult.  Merriam Webster (2015) defines cult as “a system of religious veneration (worship/practices) and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object.” The nature and mentality of a Pharisee became clear, as I pondered her statement. The truth of the matter is the real figure or object of their worship, practices, and devotion is their belief that they are right above all others. God calls it unwise in the King James Version. Unwise meaning LACKING WISDOM OR GOOD SENSE, foolish, or imprudent (no spiritual common sense).

Truth be told; denominations are developed because of a differing interpretation, belief, or practice. A “we are right and they are wrong” lies at the core of every recognized, self-governing branch of Christianity (denomination). Even so, we are ONE FAMILY IN CHRIST. We must stop this spiritual foolishness, and come together on the foundational Truth, which is the grace (Loving Help) of our Heavenly Father and the shed blood of Jesus Christ alone secured our salvation.

We obtain this precious salvation by faith, because of the extended grace of God! Everything else is God’s instruction for our establishment, growth, and productivity; which includes water baptism, gifts, and speaking in tongues. We must stop the spiritual madness! We must come together in the love of our God, and be who and what HE has ordained us to be, ONE IN CHRIST JESUS.

The Foolishness of Fighting over Differences shows a gross lack of spiritual common sense.

In natural families of the children of darkness, no one looks exactly alike (unless they are identical twins). They do not generally dress alike, eat, rest, or play alike. Nor do they all think or live alike, yet they can come together for a common goal (like the tower of Babel), work together, and genuinely enjoy one another without desecrating their right to believe and live as they choose.

How much more should this be true of the children of God? Particularly when we are being governed by the same God? Imagine if you will, that every act of evangelism was aimed at genuinely sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to win a soul from hell, rather that working to fill the seats in our particular sanctuaries.

Imagine, what would happen if we prayed for and stood by the souls we win, while encouraging them and teaching them to hear from God for themselves so the Holy Spirit can “properly” plant and grow them up in their preordained assignment in the Body of Christ? What would happen if we stop making proselytes and clones and allowed God to be God? How effective would we be if we stop thinking we know more than God?

The Attitude of One with Spiritual Common Sense

Philippians 3:8-11 (KJV) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

The operation of our God’s faith, focus, crucifixion, and resurrection are all a part of the spiritual maturing process, and are necessary to embrace this mindset of spiritual common sense.

The Apostle Paul Makes it Plain
(1) We have need of FAITH towards our God.
If we do not decide (with a final decision) to take God as HIS Word about who He is, who He has made us, and what He is willing and able to do, we will always be subject to the doctrine of men and devils.

(2) We have need of FOCUS towards our God’s character, Word (Scripture/Jesus), power, and authority.
If we do not decide (with a final decision) to keep our eyes, hearts, minds focused on and open to the mentoring of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father’s Holy Spirit, we will always be subject to walk contrary to His way and will.

(3) We have need to CRUCIFY our flesh
If we do not decide (with a final decision) to die to, deny the flesh (anything in our lives contrary to God) it’s craving of the eyes, the craving of the flesh and the pride of life, we will always be tossed about, pulled and struck down by the temptations satan sends our way

(4) Our God will RESURRECT us in and with His glory and power, as He did Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Again the Apostle Paul Speaks:

1 Corinthians 2: 1-5 (KJV) I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

People of God all over the world, it is time for us to stop leaning to our own understanding, to acknowledge our God in all our ways and allow Him to direct our paths. It is time to stop opening the door to satan and his divisive devices (i.e. pride, negative emotions, ignorance…), and depend fully on the Suffering, Crucified, and Risen Christ our Lord, our Heavenly Father, His Word (Scripture), and the confirmation of His Holy Spirit. It is time to seek after and ask our God for HIS SPIRITUAL COMMON SENSE!

Leaders, we will give an account!

James 3:1 (KJV) My brethren, be not many masters (teachers/instructors), knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

As leaders in the Body of Christ, we teach and instruct IN word and deed. Our God has never asked us, nor has He approved our making disciples unto our church, denominations, or ourselves. We have been instructed by the Holy Spirit to make disciples (believers, followers, supporters, imitators, devotees, pupils) unto Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Woe be unto us if we make gods of human beings, possessions, and temporal things, and teach others to do the same (Romans 1:28-31).

Woe be unto us if we continue to compare ourselves with one another, and judge one another outside of our God’s righteous judgment, as if our God (HIMSELF) has not predestined each of us to walk in our assignments according to His own perfect will (2 Corinthians 10:12; Romans 8:29).

Woe be unto us if we fuel foolish and ill-informed controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, because they are unprofitable and useless (Titus 3:9).

Woe be unto us if we make gods of what we think or choose to believe is right, particular if what we think or choose to believe is proven erroneous by the full counsel of our God, according to His character, Word (Scripture/Jesus), power, and authority (1 Corinthians 3:19).

Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit of our Heavenly Father, let us stand together from the four corners of the world as God’s watchmen, having one mind and one voice, and decree and declare to the hearts of those who lead in the Body of Christ, “Prepare for the visitation of our Lord. We decree and declare that the Glory of the Lord visits you as He did Saul before his conversion to Christianity. Even though he was passionate, dogmatic, educated and well trained in his religious beliefs and practices, HE WAS WRONG. We praise our God that this same Jesus appears to you to rescue you from err, and after you are converted, strengthen your brothers and sisters in the faith and Truth of God, our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ!”

We thank You for being all that You are to us; You are the great I AM! You are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Every good thing is contained in and flows from You. Forgive us for misrepresenting You in the earth. Thank You for teaching us, even the more, of things that have been hidden from the ages, and that we are stronger and wiser as a result. You will complete the work of Your will, in and through us.

We thank You for making us one by Your Holy Spirit. Forgive us when we ignorantly choose paths that foolishly divide and creates confusion among Your people. You are not the author of the confusion; rather You are his Master. Thank You for breathing on us, for opening our understanding, for increasing our spiritual common sense, our prudence even the more. Thank You for teaching us how to wage spiritual warfare with magnified levels of authority.

We thank You for the understanding of satan’s complete defeat at Calvary in Jesus Christ. We thank You that his house has been completely spoiled and conquered. Thank You for empowering us to pull his already dilapidated kingdom thoroughly down. Thank You for teaching us to enforce and oversee the complete demolition of every bit of “False Evidence Appearing Real” as we lay waste to his pseudo kingdom among humanity.

Thank You for the spiritual common sense to trust and honor You. Thank You for the spiritual common sense to believe You are who You say You are, we are who You have made us, and You are willing and well able to do all You have promised. We thank You for rewarding us as we sincerely and consistently seek to know You, Your character, Word (Scripture/Jesus), power, and authority (Holy Spirit).

Do all that is in Your heart, this day and every day, in Jesus’ powerful and matchless name we pray. Our hearts are fully confident that we have what we ask for, because it is Your will. We therefore say “Thank You!” Amen, amen, and amen!
