Blessing in the Testing

Hebrews 12:2 (ERV)  We must never stop looking to Jesus. He is the Leader of our faith, and He is the One who makes our faith complete. He suffered death on a cross. But He accepted the shame of the cross as if it were nothing. because of the joy He could see waiting for Him. And now He is sitting at the right side of God’s throne.

Watchmen all over the world,  we know that our God is the God of cycles and seasons. What a blessing is it for an individual to understand the season he/she is in; this understanding allows them to make and get the most out of their situations and circumstances. An indicator that we are in a new season, or a new place in our God is the tests that appear. May we pass each one.  There IS blessing in the testing.

Our God-given Standard of Truth
Jesus The Christ IS heaven’s Standard for the manifested son of God. Let us first take a look at the “Author and Finisher” of our faith (Hebrews 12:2):

Hebrews 5:7-9 (NIV) During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, He offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission. Son though He was, He learned obedience from what He suffered and, once made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Imagine, our God’s Word/human (Jesus) suffered, crucifying His flesh nature by honoring and obeying our Heavenly Father’s instructions (Word), as He passed through life’s lessons. Our God’s Word/human (Jesus) learned to live in humanity’s preordained, original habitat; He learned to crucify the flesh nature (fallen nature) of humanity , to submit it and be guided/controlled by our Heavenly Father’s instruction and Holy Spirit.

We learn the Way, the Truth, and the Life of a son of God and of kingdom living, as we watch Jesus The Christ in the Scripture. We must remember our God is not a respecter of persons. Our Heavenly Father showed us His heart, mind, power, and authority through the life of Jesus The Christ (His Word made human), who is the “expressed” image of Himself (Hebrews 1:3). In other words, our God “explained” Himself through Jesus Christ.

Understanding Our God’s Methods
Our Heavenly Father’s Living Word (Jesus) and written Word (Scripture) repeatedly tell all who chose to follow Him, that they will face tests and trials. Believers must embrace the Truth that whenever our God exposes a problem, He gives a solution to the problem, and promises a reward to those who overcome it.

James 1:2-5 (NLT) Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing. If you need wisdom, ask our generous God and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

We are not living this life alone, or in our own understanding. We have legal access to the wisdom of the ages. Our Heavenly Father is our ever-present, all-knowing, all-powerful, loving God, who orchestrates the life of the believer, working to cause all things (whether we perceive them to be good or not) to work together for our good (Romans 8:28-29). His intent is that we be blessed, as a result of our tests!

Testing is Necessary; Let Us Make the Most of It
We must believe the same Holy Spirit and power that raised Christ from the death lives in us. We must believe that our Heavenly Father’s Word works for Jesus and will work for us. We will be faced with opportunities to believe God above our own thoughts and feelings, above the suggestions of the enemy, and the opinions of others. The dream will be tested, but remember, if it is of God, it will not, it cannot die. It is impossible to curse what God has declared blessed!

Remember in the testing, that we “have need of patient endurance, to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising, so that when we have carried out the will of God, we may receive and enjoy to the full what our God has promised (Hebrews 10:36, AMP).

We must continue to be faithful. We must refuse to give up; we must use our faith to pull down all opposition and contrariness to the Word of God! We must trust the same Holy Spirit to enable us to love the unlovable. We must trust the same Holy Spirit to raise up in us when we come face to face with evil.

Expect to be Blessed!
In testing, we must rebuke the devil, in accordance with our God’s character and Word; we must trust His Holy Presence to walk us around, over, under, and through every test, victoriousfully. Hallelujah!

We must learned from the “Author and Finisher of our faith, that beyond every cross and shame, there is joy (Hebrews 12:2). We have learned, beyond every passed test, there is a reward.

We must follow Jesus The Christ, our Example and Standard

Philippians 2:5-11 (NLT) 5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6 Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.  7 Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form, 8 He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. 9 Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

I prophesy to the faithful all over the world, “Your blessing is here!”

Keep your eyes and ears open for the manifestation process:
For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear (Mark 4:18).
