Soldiers of Grace, Do not Abdicate!

Our God is saying to us during the present day operation of His grace, “Do not abdicate under pressure!”  We must not resign nor retire from; stand down, step down, bow down or renounce the unfailing love, authority, power, and promises He has given us.  We are His offspring, His sons, who are one in and with Jesus The Christ!  No matter what appears, let us remember that this battle is already completely won.  Let us manifest the victory of Jesus The Christ, for all to see, and to the glory of God, our Heavenly Father! Hallelujah!

Our God is saying His grace (His Loving help to be and do the impossible) is sufficient to educate, equip, and empower us.  We must  not allow faithlessness and passivity to hinder nor prevent us from fulfilling or taking up our responsibility of duty to stand in the power and authority of His promises and might!  We must not relinquish or abandon our God’s Truth because of the pressures of life, nor the deception of satan.  We must not quit, but utilize every gift and tool He has given us to do His will and rest in His promises.  We must steadfastly declare to satan, his cohorts, and their evil works, “IT IS WRITTEN;  OUR GOD HAS SAID; or IT IS FINISHED!”

In modern day vernacular, our God is saying when we have done His will, (according to His character, Word and Holy Spirit); we must patiently endure with every expectation of conquering and overthrowing evil, as we manifest our God’s will and glory in the earth.  Our God has promised that when we stay in the faith press, depending on His faithfulness, we will see the fulfillment of His promises.  He is saying to all who choose to believe, “I’ve got you!

We must not forget our God is sovereign and full of grace.  We must put Him in remembrance of His Word, then take on the heart of dependent children, earnestly watching and listening for heaven and earth to respond.  We have this blessed confidence in our God; after we have done His will, with trusting, humble heart, we can expect to see or hear heaven’s response:

1 John 5:14-15 (KJV) 14 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us: 15 And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

We must not forget our God’s modus operandi is to prepare us for His appointed assignment and journey, just as He did with Elijah and Moses.  Whether it is by the brook, eating from the mouth of a raven, or on the backside of the mountain tending someone else’s sheep, God is preparing each of us, according to our assignment and journey, as well as His purposes.

Now, more than ever, let us say, as did the Apostle Paul “It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn my God’s statutes (Psalm 119:71).  May all pain and disappointment push us into the loving arms of our God, and make us desperate to know His way of doing things.  May all pain and disappointment keep us from self-righteousness and pride; may both drive us to depend on Him the more.  May we all come to understand as Apostle Peter did when he said to Jesus, “”Lord, to whom would I go?  You alone have the Words that give eternal life.”

Beloved watchmen, may every soldier of God come to recognize (as did the early apostles) his /her status as a “slave and prisoner of Jesus Christ and His Gospel.”  May we understand as they did, it is not just for ourselves that we are slaves and prisoners, but also for those we pray for and minister to, whether by Word or living example.  Living this revelation is evidence of our conformation into the image of The Christ and the heart and plan of our Heavenly Father (Romans 8:28-29).

2 Timothy 2: 11-13 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with Him, we shall also live with Him: if we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, He also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself.

Beloved watchmen, true Christians have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord; we have completely “abdicated” from the demonic doctrine that we are anything good because of ourselves.  We have completely “abdicated” from the demonic doctrine that any human or devil matches the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, power, and authority of our Sovereign, All-knowing, All-powerful, existing anywhere He chooses God.  We remain completely committed to the Truth that our God is the Only Righteous Judge, who cannot be overturned once He has spoken!  We understand the need to persevere until God speaks or gives new direction.

We know our God is faithful, even when we and others are not! Abdicate; NO WAY!

1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT) 6 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. 7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

The thought of Jesus rejoicing over our lives and service brings peace and joy in face of trial.  We must trust our God to walk us through our tests and trials.  We must trust Him to strengthen us in times when situations contradict our faith and His Word.  We must silence and manage our emotions, get quiet before our God, and ask for His help.  We must judge all we experience by the Standard of His character, Word and Holy Spirit.  He does not mind us doing so, in fact, He prefers and instructs us to do so!

(1)   The crown of righteousness will be rewarded for believers who have prepared for the return of Jesus Christ and love the truth of His appearing.

2 Timothy 4:8 “Finally, there is laid up for me the CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.”

(2)   The eternal crown of victory will be rewarded for believers who trust God’s Word, and understand the reason they live as they live (disciplined), knowing God will bless their lives eternally.

1 Corinthians 9:25-27 (NKJV) Everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things.  Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore, I run thus: not with uncertainty.  Thus, I fight: not as one who beats the air.

(3)   The martyr’s crown will be rewarded to those who served patiently and faithfully through tests, trials, temptations, loss, and death.

James 1:12 (NKJV) Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

(4)   The faithful leader’s crown will be rewarded to those who lead God’s people by His example, and cared for them as if it were Jesus Christ doing so.

1 Peter 5:2-4 (NLT) Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you.  Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly, not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God.  Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example, and when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor.

(5)   The soul winner’s crown will be rewarded to believers who won souls for Jesus Christ, through word and deed, through planting and watering.

1 Thessalonians 2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing?  Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His coming?

Revelation 3:10-13 (NLT) 10 “Because you have obeyed My command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world.  11 I am coming soon.   Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.  12 All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of My God, and they will never have to leave it.  And I will write on them the name of My God, and they will be citizens in the city of My God—the New Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from  My God.  And I will also write on them My new name.  13 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what He is saying to the churches.

Revelation 4:9-11 (NLT) Whenever the living beings give glory and honor and thanks to the One sitting on the throne (the One who lives forever and ever), the twenty-four elders fall down and worship the One sitting on the throne (the One who lives forever and ever).  They lay their crowns before the throne and say, “You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and they exist because You created what You pleased.”

Beloved watchmen, we must join the 24 elders and cast down our crowns before our Heavenly Father and His Christ now!  Let us remember our God’s sovereignty and love, as revealed in Jesus Christ, our Savior, Lord and soon coming King.  Let us remember that our God’s Gospel of His Christ IS the very evidence of the operation of His Love and power of God unto salvation, deliverance, provision, peace, safety and everything we need.

We decree and declare over Your servants, “Sons of the Most-High God, because we seek our God’s face; because we are faithful in prayer and live upright before Him, Our God has rewarded us with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.  He has strengthened us with all power according to His glorious might so that we endure patiently and joyfully with a heart filled with gratitude.  He has qualified us to partake of the inheritance of the saints in His Kingdom of light for the blessing, and furtherance of the Gospel and His Church. He has given us dominion over all the works of darkness, and put all our enemies under our feet, in Jesus Christ.”

Father God, we are anxious for nothing, but by prayer with hearts full of gratitude, we bring the needs of Your people before You.  We thank You that Your peace, though unexplainable to the world, keeps our mind, will and emotions secure in the knowledge of Your love for us.  You are our Man of War and nothing can or will stand before You!  Do all that is in Your heart, in Jesus name I pray.  Abdicate; NO WAY!  This battle is already completely won in our Christ, armed with this revelation, we are manifesting the glory of our God in the earth.

In Jesus name! Amen, and it is so!
