Our God Builds by His Grace

Our God works (operates) in and through our lives by His grace (His Loving help to be and do the impossible).

Our God’s Grace for ALL Believers, in All Things, and All Places

Ephesians 4:4-10 (NIV) 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But to each one of us GRACE has been given as Christ apportioned it.  8 This is why it says: “When He ascended on high, He took many captives and gave gifts to His people.” 9 (What does “He ascended” mean except that He also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very One who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.)

The Holy Spirit of our God, through our Apostle Paul, emphasizes the reality that we are One in and with Him through Christ Jesus.  He highlights the predetermined will of our God, and His plan to manifest the Truth that we are each part of the same Body, with one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism and one Sovereign God and Father.

The Holy Spirit inspires His apostle to highlight the Truth that each believer has been given grace (our God’s loving help to do the impossible), according to our assignment from His Anointed One.  In other words, every gift in our lives exists because of the grace of our God, because of His Love and will alone; we benefit from His grace; however, it is given for HIS purposes and goals.

The Purpose of Jesus’s Ascension (above all) Grace

The testimony of the Gospel of our God and His Christ is that His sovereign (above all) grace worked in, through, and on Jesus’s behalf,  equipping and empowering Him to sojourn through the earthly life, embrace the sting of death, and travel into the depths and heights of all creation, returning in full victory over evil (Philippians 2:5-11) .  He is our God-appointed Lord of all lords and King of all kings; through Him, believers are has granted access to all our Heavenly Father and all that He preordained for us.  We are restored, transformed and conformed into His image and sent (apostolic) into the world to enforce all He has accomplished.  By our God’s grace, we work to establish the kingdom of our God in the hearts of humanity; in doing so, we build the Body of Christ:

Ephesians 4:11-13 11 So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip His people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up 13 until WE ALL reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Matthew 28:18b-20 All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Our God’s purpose and goal in depositing and working His ascension grace in the lives of believers (as exemplified in Jesus The Christ) is so that we understand He uses OUR minds, mouths, hands, and feet to lay HIS foundation and build believers in HIS Truth, faith and love, that we may walk in HIS righteousness, that we make full use of HIS processes of repentance, regeneration, resurrection, transformation, and conformity.  By and through His grace, it is every Christian leader’s responsibility to train HIS people to hear HIS Voice, as WE ALL walk by His Word, in His Holy Spirit.  In this the sons of the Most-High God manifest in His Holy Spirit of Unity, Truth, and Love and the Body is built up together, conforming to the life and ministry, the express image of Jesus The Christ.  This is our God’s kingdom revealed.

The Result of the Working (Operation) of our God’s Grace

Ephesians 4:14-16 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Understanding of the working and application of our God’s grace, by faith, and according His plans and purposes brings the believer into maturity.  We come to know our God’s Presence, His character, nature, heart, mind, and will.  Unbelievers recognize we are disciples, followers of Jesus Christ because of the charity (giving Love) that flows from and among us.  We become a part of maturing and building process as we speak the Truth in Love, supporting one another with hearts that desire ALL mature and succeed.

Our God’s Grace for ALL who Believe

Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Romans 6:1-4 (NIV) What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

Our God’s Loving help did that which was impossible for us, as He rescued our lives from destruction through His operations in the life, ministry, death, resurrection, ascension and seating of Jesus The Christ, our Savior and Lord. His will is that believers enforce the full manifestation of humanity’s rescue from deception and restoration by His sovereign grace, just as He revealed in Jesus The Christ (1 Timothy 2:1-8; Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38)).

Our God’s grace IS NOT is not a cloak nor license to sin and escape its cost or punishment; to believe this is to be self-deceived (Romans 6:1-2; 14-15).  Our God is gracious, knowing we are no match for satan and the kingdom of darkness without Him. He desires that none, not one perish, and has given His very best in providing our way of escape from the deception of satan, the flesh (sin nature), and the lasciviousness of this world, through Christ Jesus (2 Peter 1:2-8).

The purpose of our God’s grace working in human lives is to rescue, protect, provide for, and unite those who believe in Him and His work in Jesus Christ, the Head of the Ecclesia.  Our God’s grace IS sufficient, IS more than enough for us all.

May We Never Abuse our God’s Grace

Galatians 2:19-21 (NKJV) 19 For I through the law died to the law that I might live to God. 20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

We must never neglect nor abuse our God’s grace, to do so is to toy with the wrath of our God.  Consider this as we read Jude 3-5 (KJV):

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.  4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

These verses tell us plainly that our God delivered His people from Egypt, yet had to destroy those who lived in rebellion because of the absence of faith in Him.  They displeased God, and their unbelief would be as a ravenous disease among the people.  This Scripture lets us know that judgment is assured for those who abuse and misuse our God’s grace.  Let us not be named among those who abuse our God’s grace, and be quick to repent when He convicts us for doing so.

May We Make Full Use of Our God’s Grace and Gift of Righteousness

Romans 5:15-17 (NIV) 15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! 16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

Understand, death has no claim or rule in the life of a believer in Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.  Our God, by His Loving Help, doing the impossible through us and on our behalf conquered sin, death, hell, and the grave IN Jesus Christ! In the eyes of our God, each believer in all He has done took the beating IN CHRIST, was hung on the cross IN CHRIST, died and was buried IN CHRIST, arose and ascended IN CHRIST, and is now seated in heavenly places, as the Right -Hand authority of our God, IN CHRIST (1 Corinthians 15:54; Colossians 2:15; Romans 6:4-10)

Manifest sons of God, manifest.  Make full use of the loving help of our God, accomplishing the impossible through us, and on our behalf.  Hallelujah! Rise up with the Loving help, by the grace of our God.  We must ask for and expect our God for wisdom and knowledge of His purposes and plans for our lives and walk in the Light that He shines upon our steps and paths (James 1:5; Psalm 119:105).

We love You and so appreciative for loving help, for Your grace to do, receive and give that which is impossible for us alone.  We are grateful for every gift, talent, and ability.  Thank You for the diversity of the working of Your grace and that we have all sufficiency because You love us so.

Thank You for strong, relentless conviction when we neglect, abuse, and frustrate the grace upon our lives.  Thank You for teaching us the operation of Your grace in our lives.  Our confession of faith is, “We understand the working of our God’s grace in the lives of humanity and life around us.”

Thank You for the ability to discern Your heart, mind, and purposes, and for Your equipping and allowing us to join in with You and one another as we build the Body of Christ together.  Thank You that each part is supplying its portion at optimum levels.  The working of Your grace tells us that nothing spirit nor flesh can stand before us, because our lives are hidden in Your Christ, our Lord, Jesus.  Thank You for Your ascension, above all, sovereign grace working in, through, and on our behalf, as root up, pluck up, tear down and destroy the strongholds of darkness, and build Your kingdom in the hearts of humanity.  Thank You for the grace to take the kingdoms of this world for and by Your Christ.

Do all that is in Your heart, today and every day.  We open wide doors, windows, portals, and gates for the entrance of Your glory.  Show Your Arm, oh God.  Grace us with Your Presence.  We look with earnest hope to see Your hand moving in the land of the living.  We know our hope will not be disappointed.

In Jesus The Christ name, we pray.  Amen and amen.
