The term waiting also means serving; as we wait to see our God’s hand move in our live and in the lives of those around us, we are called to serve our God and humanity. Our faith and obedience to our God are the keys to receiving our God’s gift of grace to serve, to be and do the impossible. We know when we submit to our God’s Holy Spirit strength, wisdom, and power, He works through us, helping us, equipping and empowering us, so that we do not say or do anything before His appointed time.
Our God keeps us working in His season and timing (Kairos), even as He protects us from being exposed to more that we are able to comprehend and process (physically, mentally, or spiritually). As Jesus told His disciples, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.”
While humans are limited in comprehension and process, our God is not. Nothing can hinder nor change our God’s will, as it works behind the scenes, but our ignorance and unbelief. While our God’s Word works to change our minds and build our faith, His Holy Spirit Love, light, and resurrection power are at work around us, in that which is unseen and unheard. Our Sovereign God walks on darkness and uses it as His hiding place (Psalm 18:9; 11). Then, in the fullness of time, Kairos (God’s time) kisses Khronos (man’s time) and the harvests of past seeds sown bring up.
All over the world, men and women have been faithful to stay in right relationship with our God. All over the world, people are waiting for Kairos and Kronos to kiss one another; they are waiting for their personal fullness of time. They are waiting to hear our God say, “It’s your time; it’s your turn!” Who can successfully contradict our God, when He has spoken? Who can stop Him from doing what is in His heart? Our Heavenly Father is getting those who belong to Him ready to receive His Glory.
The birthing of who we are in Him has been painful for the multitudes. Crucifying or dying to the flesh has been a seemingly long tedious instruction to walk out. Much has been laid down, sacrificed, given, and even stolen. Through it all, we say, “It is well!” because we know our God the Promise Keeper shall reward all who continue in faith towards Him:
Matthew 5:10-12 (KJV) Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 6:3-4 (KJV) 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:6 (KJV) But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Luke 6:35 (KJV) But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Colossians 3:23-24 (AMPC) 23 Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as something done for the Lord and not for men, 24 Knowing with all certainty that it is from the Lord and not from men; that you will receive the inheritance which is your real reward. The One Whom you are actually serving is the Lord Christ The Messiah.
Watchmen all over the world, let us remain faithful to our God, His Christ, and His cause. Our God keeps His promises. He watches over His Word to ensure the performance of His will. He watches His Word spoken from our hearts in the same manner He watched and watches over every Word spoken by Jesus Christ (the first of His sons, our Savior, Lord, Messiah, King and Big Brother!)
The watchman prayer for His people is that of Jabez:
Father God, bless us and expand our territory. Be with us in all we do, and keep us from trouble or pain. We remind You that You granted Jabez’s request, and because we know You are not a respecter of persons, our earnest expectation is that You will to do the same for us. It is so!
Thank You that Kairos is kissing Kronos, that we are walking into our fullness of times, and nothing, nor no one can change Your will, Your way. Thank You for the grace to wait, the grace to serve You and humanity as we watch to see Your glory manifested in our lives and the earth.
We pray Father, that You do all that is in Your heart. Leave nothing undone that You desire to do; Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, both today and every day. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen and amen!
