Discerning the Heart of a Good Godly Soldier

When we repent of our sin and rebellion against our God, accept the His plan of salvation through His sacrifice of His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, and open our hearts to His Love, Word and Holy Spirit transforming power, we are free to do our part.  What does this mean; how does it look?  How do we discern the heart of a good godly soldier?

Matthew 15:16-19 (AMP) 16 And He said, “Are you still so dull and unable to put things together? 17 Do you not understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach, and is eliminated? 18 But whatever word comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what defiles and dishonors the man. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts and plans, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false testimonies, slanders, verbal abuse, irreverent speech, blaspheming.

Our God is not impressed with our own words or works in and of themselves. In the operation of our faith and its accompanying speech and works, our God is most interested in the condition of our hearts. It is possible to say and do “good” things from an evil heart, and miss heaven altogether:

Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) 21 Not everyone that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.

The heart of a good godly soldier is a heart that believes our God is who He says He is, that He is willing and able to do what He says, and that He does it for ALL who diligently (purposefully and consistently) seek to learn and apply His character, nature, power, and authority, HIS WAY (Hebrews 11:6). Mark, chapter 4 provides analogies of the conditions of the human heart (ground), after hearing the Word of God (seed).

This heart is not awake to God; being unbelieving, disinterested, unenthusiastic, disapproving, lazy, indifferent, non-committed, unconcerned, and unresponsive.

Mark 4:34 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow, and it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

Mark 4:15 These are they by the way side, where the word is sown, but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

The seed of the Word of God does not even enter this heart; this heart does not take the Person or Word of our God seriously. This is the heart that half hears God, a heart whose “love” is halted (stalled, in neutral) between the love of the world and God, because it wants His blessing and power without His disciplines, instructions, or guidance (Matthew 22:37).

This heart is awake to God to a measure, but has not fully embraced the Faith, Focus, Crucifixion, Resurrection Process. Therefore, it does not yield to the instruction of our God in an area (or areas).

Mark 4:56 Some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

Mark 4:16-17 These are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness; And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.

This heart lacks the proper nutrients (sincerity, respect for, revelation of, or faith in God) to maintain the seed of the Word of God until His Truth takes root. The spiritual stones of self will, fear, pride, and the like resist the instruction and/or convicting power of our God’s Word. Simply put, this heart is capable of producing and maintaining goodly fruit, but its unrepented attitudes, appetites, and lusts resist the instruction and/or convicting power of our God’s Word. This heart picks and chooses what it will allow to grow in it, rather than fully accepting and nurturing the seed of God’s Word.

This heart is awake to God and has sincere desire for God. However, it lets go of its faith under the pressures of life, OR after receiving a measure of God’s blessing, it fails to purposefully and consistently crucify flesh and honor God. This failure opens the door for satan to capture it in the web of the love of money (gain) and/or the lust for pleasure/comfort.

Mark 4:18-19 These are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

Mark 4:7 Some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

Have we discerned our heart can be good and godly in one area, but lukewarm, stony, or thorny in another? How does satan gain access to our hearts? We fail to (1) trust God with our cares and concerns while continuing to believe His promises, (2) exalt and trust in Him rather than our own gifts, abilities, or blessings and (3) make our relationship with Him our first priority.

Our failure to nurture the seed of our God’s Word with purposeful, consistent thanksgiving, right confessions, praise, honor, and obedience to Him, opens the door for the world and satan to penetrate our protective spiritual armor and distract us from our focus. Our focus should be trusting and pleasing God through His Word.

The good heart is a humble heart, that believes our God is God, that is He is able and willing to do all He has promised, AND that He will do it for all who purposefully and consistently believe!

Mark 4:20 These are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

Mark 4:8 Other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some, an hundred.

Faith, humility, and patience in the only True and Living God, for Whom it is impossible to lie is the combination that gets manifestation. This heart embraces the Word of God and nurtures what it hears with thanksgiving, right confessions, praise, honor, and obedience, until the Word produces the things hoped for, the things our God has promised (Hebrews 11:1; Hebrews 6:12). Such is the heart of the soldier of Jesus Christ. We may live our lives in joy and peace, knowing our God’s Love and power never fails, if we only believe.

(1) We must give our lives to God purposefully and consistently, as living sacrifices. He is looking for an open, obedient heart. He is looking for a “Do with me as You will” heart. Judge all things by His character, mind, will, power, and authority.

(2) Faith and fasting conquers and overcomes the worldly desires, appetites and lusts of our bodies, getting our souls (minds, wills, and emotions) under control, quieting them so that we can hear and do what our God’s Word and Holy Spirit says to us.

(3) Spending quiet time with God, away from the responsibilities of life and the cares of the world quiets our soul: our mind (thought lives), our will (decision-making abilities), and emotions (our feelings) so that we can hear and obey God.

(4) Praying in the Holy Spirit (in tongues and with understanding) builds our faith in God. We must ask the Holy Spirit to help us to pray and relax in His care and guidance (by faith). Our spirit man is our divine hook up to God, we are strengthened and built up in our inner most being by His Word and Presence. We must trust Him without fear; He keeps His promises.

Faith begins and builds on what we hear (on where the will of our God is known (Romans 10:17). When other voices (the other people, the noise of busyness, the distraction of technological devices …) fill our lives, we become more influenced by them than what our God has to say.

Our hearts (spirit) will only make wise decisions when we put our God, His Word/will, and His Holy Spirit first. We will enjoy peace when we embrace how much He loves us.

Jesus Christ our Lord is the highest-ranking officer, second only to our Heavenly Father.

1 Corinthians 15:24-28 (NLT) 24 After that the end will come, when He (Jesus Christ) will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power. 25 For Christ must reign until He humbles all His enemies beneath His feet. 26 And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For the Scriptures say, “God has put all things under His authority.” (Of course, when it says “all things are under His authority,” that does not include God Himself, who gave Christ His authority.) 28 Then, when all things are under His authority, the Son will put Himself under God’s authority, so that God, who gave His Son authority over all things, will be utterly supreme over everything everywhere.

Our Heavenly Father established Jesus Christ as His right-hand man (Hebrew 12:2). THERE IS NO REBELLION IN THE THIRD HEAVEN; our Sovereign God evicted satan and every other rebellious being (1 John 5:7; Luke 10:18). Though he is utterly cast out and evil, satan dare not further rebel against God, but he does all he can to keep us from the knowledge that we have victory over him and his rebellion (all evil belongs to satan).

We are the Body of Christ, charged to enforce Jesus’ completed work and defeat of satan and darkness; we are anointed and appointed to decree, declare, command, and demand that every knee bow and tongue confess His Lordship, TO THE GLORY OF OUR GOD, OUR HEAVENLY FATHER (Mark 16:17-18, John 14:12; Philippians 2:2-11). We must do so from a heart that purposely, consistently, and sincerely desires His will.

The Scriptures uses types, shadows, and symbols to explain the mind of our God. Let us consider analyzing the heart of spiritual mules (jackasses), goats, and wolves. We must understand darkness plants corrupt seed into unguarded hearts (Proverbs 4:23), to drain energy and overthrown interpersonal and intra-personal success on both the individual and corporate levels of ministry.

The mule heart is ignorantly complacent or smugly self-satisfied, which manifests as the unwillingness to commit or participate in anything. It is the sterile, fruitless offspring of the donkey and horse, it is equipped to run for God, but chooses to follow its own mind. Its nature is stubborn and unwilling to yield to truth, which manifests as the resistance to change or correction; they are unteachable, generally get along with the select few, and resists Truth steadfastly. They are lukewarm, being mostly motivated by the dangling carrot or cube of sugar (self-pleasure and accolades). (Sounds Pharisaic, doesn’t it?)

The goat heart struggles with pride or ungodly confidence and dependence upon one’s gifts and abilities, which manifests in extreme independence and relentless ambition. It has no respect or regard for God’s Word, His Holy Spirit, authority and delegated authorities. It selfishly butts against truth until unconscious, which manifests as arguing and complaining until its strength and resolve diminishes. This heart condition leads a reprobate thoughts, decisions, and behaviors, as satan removes it from its the path of destiny. In worst case scenario, this heart begins to work with satan to hinder or shipwreck others. It is self-deceived; refusing recognize its own fruit, it is in utter denial (Romans 1).

The wolf heart struggles with lawlessness. It is a sneaky chameleon, resisting the headship of our God, being god unto itself, which causes it not to respect nor trust anyone; it will bully relentlessly to get its way. It is a greedy, lustful heart that is never satisfied, which manifests in compromise. It is not willing to pay the price for what it wants, but uses others without remorse or conscience (Acts 20:29).

Jesus Christ is The Lion of Judah, our Fearless Champion (Revelation 5:5), and The Lamb, our Humble Servant slain before the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). Our Heavenly Father’s Holy Spirit transforms our lives into that of a son of the only Living God, as we yield our lives (spirit, soul, and body) to Him. We do so by embracing the full Persons of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ AND by believing, thinking, speaking, and behaving in alignment with His Truth. We take on the heart of THE Good Godly Soldier! Hallelujah!

Hear the joy of our heart cry, “Thank You for making us one with Jesus Christ, with You and Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for the ability to walk with the sober estimation of who we are; we know it is You Who has made and are making us, and not we ourselves. Any good thing to be found in us, or said about us, is because of You alone. We give to You all the praise, honor, and glory!

Thank You for the ability to walk in Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for the ability to know Your Voice from any other; Hallelujah!” We align our confession with Your Truth declaring, “We have the heart of THE good, godly soldier, Jesus Christ, our Lord. He has made us enforcers of His completed work at Calvary. The will of our God be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” Hallelujah!

Father God, We love and trust You. Do all that is in Your heart, today and every day as You prepare the Body of Christ, for His return. We believe we receive even before and as we pray, because we pray according to Your will, in Jesus name and it is so!

All Free to Do Our Part

(None are Exempt from Walking in our God’s Virtue)

Watchmen all over the world, we must put away the demonic stronghold of respect of person and status in the Body of Christ. We must look and listen beyond the world’s hype and see that our God’s Word is continually being fulfilled. We must remember, when believers know, understand, and submit to the original mind, perfect will, and steadfast intent of our God (His Word: Scripture and Jesus), HE synchronizes us with and by His Holy Spirit.

We share in our God’s virtues, as His Holy Spirit manifests the will and power of heaven in the earth and lives of humanity, according to our faith and obedience (Romans 8; 1 Corinthians 12:7). Our God’s perfect will is for all humanity (male and female; old and young; rich and poor) is for us to live, move, and have our being synchronized with Him and one another as One, displaying His Person, Word, character, authority, dominion, and power in the earth:

Genesis 1:26-27 (AMP) 26 Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Word, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness (not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness); and let THEM have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God HE created him; male and female HE created THEM.

Genesis 5:12 (KJV) This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made HE him; 2 Male and female created HE them; and blessed, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. Our God’s mind and intent when He created humanity in His own image and likeness, was to allow us (all and each of us) to reign together on earth, as He reigns in heaven (Genesis 1:26-30).

Our God charged humanity to take dominion over every other created thing, NOT ONE ANOTHER! This is His will (finished and revealed in Christ Jesus) and it IS manifesting in the earth.

Ephesians 4:11-16 (NLT)
Verses 11-13 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do His work and build up the church, the Body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

Jesus Christ willed the ascension or five-fold ministry gifts to the Body of Christ, anointing ALL WHO BELIEVE with His virtues of grace, wisdom, ability… to build the mind, will and ways of our Heavenly Father (His kingdom) into the lives of believers. These gifts are spiritual tools used to mature the Body of Christ for service. The Body of Christ comes together, as all and each believer arises with understanding and does his or her part. No matter how it seems to the natural eye or ear, our God’s predetermined will IS taking place; as genuine believers in Jesus Christ shall see His will come to pass:

Verse 14-16 We will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the Head of His body, the Church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

It is the will of our God that each member of the Body of Christ (male and female; old and young; rich and poor) do our part by agreeing with His Word and allowing His Holy Spirit to administrate His virtue (power to do good and right) in our lives. Our God has made plain that in spiritual operations, there is NO favoritism, neither is there any superiority among men or angel. He alone is our Sovereign God. The mature in Him have grown to understand assignments and responsibilities (according to gift and His processing) and are sober in the estimation of themselves and others. HE HAS NOT EXCLUDED NOR EXEMPTED ANYONE!

John 1:11-12 (KJV) 11 He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.

Watchmen all over the world, we know that our true being and existence is spirit. We live in flesh bodies (male or female) to fulfill our purpose and assignment in this physical world; however, our true being is spirit. Our God’s only requirement to be one of His sons (regardless of person or status) is faith in Him and His work in Jesus THE Christ:

Galatians 3:28 (AMP) There is now no distinction in regard to salvation, neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you who believe are all one in Christ Jesus, no one can claim a spiritual superiority.

Watchmen all over the world, we must do our part to set all captives free, so that we all are able to do our part in the furtherance of our God’s kingdom in the earth and lives of humanity. Perhaps you live in a culture or nation that overtly or blatantly oppresses people (we know it is everywhere to some measure). We pray more grace and endurance upon their lives, along with every believer, as our God works and fights on our behalf. We thank our God that the revelation knowledge is being poured out that activating and releasing all of our God’s sons is key to building the Body and bringing Jesus Christ back.

John 11:43-44 (AMP) 43 When He had said this, He shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 Out came the man who had been dead, his hands and feet tightly wrapped in burial cloths (linen strips), and with a burial cloth wrapped around his face. Jesus said to them, “Unwrap him and release him.”

Luke 13:1617 (NLT) 16 This dear woman, a daughter of Abraham, has been held in bondage by satan for eighteen years. Isn’t it right that she be released, even on the Sabbath?” 17 This shamed His enemies, but all the people rejoiced at the wonderful things He did.

Though a nation, culture or environment require anyone to think, speak, and move in a place outside our fullest potential, we pray that all be encouraged and do not ever forget we can take absolute dominion over darkness in the spirit realm (in the authority and power of the name of Jesus). Let us stand together and continue to faithfully command these walls and strongholds of satan to crumble and fall, and for its perpetrators be put to open shame and repentance. We call forth great favor and understanding to be poured out. We need every son of God fighting the good fight of faith.

We pray that our God shut down all success and progress until every ruler’s heart turn favorably towards with all (men, women, young, old, minorities, and the systematically disadvantaged). We pray that restitution be paid to the loved ones of those who died after laboring without wages. We pray the glass ceilings over those who are oppressed crash to the ground, into pieces that cannot be reconstructed.

Numbers 26:33; 27:28 (AMP) 33 Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but only daughters, and the names of Zelophehad’s daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah. 2 They stood before Moses, Eleazar the priest, the leaders, and all the congregation at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle), saying, 3 “Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among those who assembled together against the Lord in the company of Korah, but he died for his own sin (as did all those who rebelled at Kadesh), and he had no sons. 4 Why should the name of our father be removed from his family because he had no son? Give to us a possession (land) among our father’s brothers.” 5 So Moses brought their case before the Lord. 6 Then the Lord said to Moses, 7 “The request of the daughters of Zelophehad is justified. You shall certainly give them a possession as an inheritance among their father’s brothers, and you shall transfer their father’s inheritance to them. 8 Further, you shall say to the Israelites, ‘If a man dies and has no son, you shall transfer his inheritance to his daughter.

Watchmen all over the world, we must know that our God has taken all ungodly constraints off all His people (without respect of person or status). He has ordained that all ungodly yokes and burdens destroyed and removed (whether physical or spirit). Let us stand together and demand chains to break and locks to melt, as doors and gates open to the manifested, anointed hand of our God at work in the cultures and nations of the world. We need all of God’s sons (male, female, rich, poor, young and old) at work, in His virtue of liberty (2 Corinthians 3:17)!

Psalm 34:19 (NLT) The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time.

It makes absolutely no difference why any of us are found in the fights and struggle we are in. It does not matter if our pain is self-inflicted. Our God loves us and has preordained that every believer prospers and be in health, as our souls (minds, wills, and emotions) prosper, that we lend and not borrow, that we are blessed in whatever state we find ourselves. We need only repent. This is not because of anything good in us; it is all about our God. His Word has forever established that we be rescued and restored, if we only believe.

We are grateful that Your Word is being fulfilled continually and the oppressed are walking into Your perfect liberty. We thank You the Body of Christ is indeed coming together, and we are growing together in Your Truth and Love. Once again, Your Word and Holy Spirit are using unusual methods to do things impossible for mere humans.

Thank You for Your enduring strength empowering us,until we see Your hand of deliverance, until Your angel walks us out of every trap and cage, until the necessary miracle manifests. Thank You for allowing us to see Kairos commune with Kronos.
You are our Great God.

Father we thank You for gathering and uniting Your people from every walk of life, culture, and nation. We thank You for linking our faith, gathering our tears, and giving us the authority and power in the name of Jesus. You have well equipped us to pull down strongholds. Nothing contrary to Your will shall stand before us. We stand sending Your Word and consuming fire to every fairy tale and lie that we have heard about You, Jesus, and Your Holy Spirit. We thank You for breathing upon us afresh, so that we see You as You truly are.

We stand together (in the power of agreement) and send Your dunamis, yoke destroying, burden removing power/virtue into and against these wicked systems, until Your people can no longer be oppressed, or mistreated. Thank You that the revelation comes to these systems, that they WILL NOT see their promised land or walk into their large places until such oppression and abuse is uprooted. We declare to them, “Loose God’s sons and let them go! In, Jesus name!”

We stand together as one in the Holy Spirit, declaring and decreeing Your heart and mind. Therefore, Father, be it unto us, as we believe and have spoken.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen and it is so!

A Prayer

In the authority of Jesus Christ, we clear the paths and raise the gates for the entrance of Your Glory into the lives of Your people. We give Your Holy Spirit free course in the lives and affairs of humanity. We embrace the authority and power redeemed by Jesus Christ, and utilize Your revelation knowledge to get your will done, your way. We know whatever we take authority over in the earth, You back us up in heaven. We understand how it works, and put our hands to the plow. By Your grace, mercy and keeping power, they will never be removed.

In light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we decree and declare that Your watchmen, their families and everything under their care are free from all oppression from the enemy of our souls. We decree and declare that every curse released over our lives, our destinies, all that we possess and all our connections, (whether past, present, and future) are rendered powerless. Every mission, every fiery dart of destruction, (whether ill-spoken word, thought, or deed) falls dead to the ground, NOW (1 to 3 seconds continually)!

We decree and declare that every weapon (whether ill-spoken word, thought, or deed) formed against Your watchmen, their families and everything under their care, implodes like the wicked spiritual chemical labs that they are. Their makers feel the fire of their own devices; their evil sticks to them like napalm until they bow hearts in repentance. We decree and declare every wicked spiritual entity behind their foolishness consumed by the fire of Your Holy Spirit, who is Truth, Light, Life, and Authority.

We decree and declare every wicked messenger bird, shot down dead, in the authority of Jesus Christ. We decree every peeping tom familiar and ancestral spirit blind, deaf, and dumb; we decree them bound and caged to await their judgment, in the authority of Jesus Christ.

We decree and declare access to the minds, hearts, bodies, and lives of God’s people cut off from every unclean, contrary spirit and reentry prevented by the fiery Sword of the Holy Spirit. We remind darkness that it has no legal right to any human because of the shed blood of Jesus. We lift our voices as one commanding every unclean, contrary spirit to loose God’s people and let them go NOW! You are bound and caged with no release until judgment, which is soon to come!

Father, we who are not ignorant of Your Truth, cover those who are, and we thank You for Your lovingkindness and tender mercies. Breathe on us all again; open the eyes of our understanding, even the more, that we all may know Jesus Christ, according to Your plan and purpose for our lives, individually and corporately.

Father God, we have cleared the paths and raised the gates for the entry of Your Glory. Let Your Glory be revealed in us. Shut the mouths of the scorners and naysayers. Do it so all will know that You are God; You reign and are yet moving in the land of the living!

Thank You for being the God of our breakthroughs. Thank You that dreams and visions long delayed are manifesting in the lives of Your people.

You are coming back for a glorious Church; glorify Yourself in us. Do all that is in Your heart, today and every day. We clear a straight path for You, our King of Glory, strong and mighty in battle. You have made us more than conquerors, by Your Word and Your Holy Spirit. Thank You.

With great expectation, we look to see You. We love and appreciate You and all You do and have done. We give You all the Glory; it belongs to You alone.

We pray and decree all in Jesus’ mighty name.
Amen, amen and amen.

Your Faith, Prayer, and Support Needed

Beloved watchmen,  I want to let you all know the faith fight I have been in. I have been sucker-punched by the devil, who attacked my body with infirmity. I believe that by the stripes of Jesus Christ, I am already free. God has chosen a path of recovery for me and I need your faith, prayer, and support. I ask that you resist all fear and anything that speaks contrary to our faith in our God. There is a GoFund Me page setup to assist me in walking out this healing. Please share it as the Lord leads. My faith says I am already on the other side of it all.

GoFund Me: www.gofundme.com/help-save-linda039s-life

One thing I have known my entire ministerial life, is that satan and darkness wants to shut down all Truth.  The truth is the return of Christ is upon us and he knows his time is short; he is desperate.

I feel I was sucker-punched to see if I truly believe our God is who He says He is.  I do believe.  I believe I was healed when I asked to be healed in Jesus name.  When I asked for instruction and direction, I was given this course.  I ask for your faith, prayer, and support.

I will continue to share this marvelous Gospel, because our God is real and His work in Christ is our portion.  My intent is to share the “faith, focus, crucifixion, and resurrection” process, that brings us to victory in Christ Jesus every time, in upcoming posts.

Thank you for your faith, prayer, and support.  Please share the page as the Lord leads.  Much love, grace, peace, and blessing to you.

Building in our God’s Apostolic Love

(The Necessity of a Christ-Like Love Walk)

Watchmen all over the world, we must understand we are God’s apostolic, prophetic seers and intercessors for this hour. We must understand we are builders, co-laborers with our God, His Word (Scripture/Jesus), and His Holy Spirit. We watch, pray, decree, declare, and command, as we work with our God to further His kingdom (His way of ruling and operating) in the earth.

As God’s apostolic, prophetic watchmen, we understand faith in our God is the supernatural material used by heaven to produce the things we petition Him for, in accordance His Person, Word, and Holy Spirit. Faith in our God is the spiritual force that deploys heaven’s forces to oversee and enforce the things we decree and declare over, demand and command from the works over which
Jesus Christ is Lord.

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We understand genuine faith is unwavering persuasion, conviction, and confidence in someone or something. We understand all that we bring into manifestation in the earth, heaven produces with the spiritual material of faith in our God. Faith in our God ignites the Sword and Shield of His Word. Our God’s Word spoken in faith in Him activates the heavenly host in behalf of humanity. We understand our God loves us, but is only pleased with us, as we trust Him with unwavering faith:

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) Without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Apostolic people understand that building our faith in our God through the study and application of His Word (with Jesus Christ as our Example), along with faith in the guidance of His Holy Spirit are imperative if we are to build alongside our God, in accordance to HIS will, way, and specifications.

James 2:19-20 (AMP) 19 You believe that God is one; you do well to believe that. The demons also believe that, and shudder and bristle in awe-filled terror; they have seen His wrath! 20 But are you willing to recognize, you foolish spiritually shallow person, that faith without good works is useless?

Apostolic people understand it is not enough to simply confess, sing, and dance about how much we believe in and love our God. Our God’s expectation is that we live like we have unwavering confidence in the Truth of who He says He is, and that He is able and willing to do all He promises (for us and others).

Galatians 5:6 (KJV) For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Apostolic people understand the need to walk in and do all things in the Love of our God, as His Holy Spirit leads. We understand that the keeping of the law and the fulfillment of works produce nothing valuable in the eyes of our God, when accomplished outside of the working of our faith in Him through
His Love.

Watchmen, we live in a world when people claim to do many things for our God. However, when we take a closer look at all that is being and has been done, we must ask if we truly “see” His Love in operation in our lives and others?

1 Corinthians 13:4-9 (AMP)
(1) Our God’s Love working through us endures with patience and serenity,
(2) Our God’s Love working through us is kind and thoughtful
(3) Our God’s Love working through us is not jealous or envious
(4) Our God’s Love working through us does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.
(5) Our God’s Love working through us is not rude;
(6) Our God’s Love working through us is not self-seeking,
(7) Our God’s Love working through us is not provoked, nor overly sensitive and easily angered
(8) Our God’s Love working through us does not take into account a wrong endured.
(9) Our God’s Love working through us does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth (when right and truth prevail).
(10) Our God’s Love working through us bears, endures all things without weakening, regardless of what comes (under the guidance of the Holy Spirit)
(11) Our God’s Love working through us believes all things, looking for the best in each one (under the guidance of the Holy Spirit)
(12) Our God’s Love working through us hopes all things, remaining steadfast during difficult times(under the guidance of the Holy Spirit).
(13) Our God’s Love working through us never fails
(14) Our God’s Love working through us it never fades nor ends.

Our Savior, Lord, King, and coming Messiah clearly issued a warning to all who follow Him (yesterday, today, and tomorrow):

Matthew 24:7-14 (NLT) 7 Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. 8 But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come. 9 “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. 10 And many will turn away from Me and betray and hate each other. 11 And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. 12 Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the LOVE OF MANY WILL GROW COLD. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 14 And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the
end will come.

Jesus provides believers with warnings to make us aware of the tricks of satan and the weakness and foolishness of the flesh nature. We understand the need to be alert and sober-minded, watching for ourselves, as we watch for others.

2 Corinthians 13:5 (NLT) Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you
have failed the test of genuine faith.

How do we know if we truly believe our God? Our faith in and love towards our God flow hand in hand with our submission and obedience to His Word (Scripture and Jesus). Jesus asks, “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not practice what I tell you (Luke 6:46; Amp)?” He also says, “If you really love Me, you will keep and obey My commandments (John 14:15; Amp).”

Apostolic people understand that our God exposes the workings of flesh and unfaithfulness through His Apostle Paul:

2 Timothy 3:1-5 But understand this, that in the last days, dangerous times of great stress and trouble will come, difficult days that will be hard to bear. For people will be:

(1) Lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused],
(2) Lovers of money [impelled by greed],
(3) Boastful, conceited, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane,
(4) Unloving, devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane
(5) Irreconcilable,
(6) Malicious gossips,
(7) Devoid of self-control, intemperate, immoral, brutal, reckless,
(8) Haters of good, traitors,
(9) Lovers of sensual pleasure rather than lovers of God,

Holding to a form of outward godliness (religion), although they have denied its power, for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith. Avoid such people and
keep far away from them.

Our God left us many standards (in His Word; Scripture and Jesus) to measure His character, nature, will and ways. We understand our need to repent quickly when any seed of corruption is found in us.

Romans 5:2-5 (NLT) 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. 3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

We have no excuse for not walking in our God’s love. He has provided His mercy (Romans 12:1-2). He has provided His peace (Colossians 3:15). He has given us exceeding great and precious promises, equipping us to walk in His divine nature, which is Love (2 Peter 1:1-8; 1 John 4:8).

Ephesians 5:1-2 (AMP) 5 Therefore become imitators of God; copy Him and follow His example, as well-beloved children imitate their father; 2 and walk continually in love (that is, value one another; practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others), just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God, slain for you, so that it became a sweet fragrance.

We understand our need to reflect the Person of our Heavenly Father in thought, word, and deed. He has given us Jesus Christ as His Living Tutorial, for a son of the Most-High God.

Luke 4:18-19 (NLT) 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, for He has anointed Me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, 19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.”

We understand these Words were spoken by Jesus Christ, and our Pattern and Example for Christian life and ministry. As He is in this world, so are we:

1 John 4:17 (NLT) As we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face Him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world.

We understand we are called, charged and equipped to do greater works than Jesus Christ. We must continually have faith in our God, doing His will (works), by and in His Holy Spirit (Love).

Matthew 7:22-23 (TLB) At the Judgment many will tell Me, ‘Lord, Lord, we told others about You and used Your name to cast out demons and to do many other great miracles.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘You have never been Mine. Go away, for your deeds are evil.’

We understand our God wants our hearts, not just our words and deeds. Good works outside of God’s love, absent of honor and worship towards Him or simply good deeds that exalt man or satisfy the conscience. We are not deceived.  Where there is no genuine love for our God and others, there is no God reward.

Proverbs 4:7 (KJV) Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Wisdom is knowledge made useful, productive, and applicable, through understanding. Understanding is the ability to comprehend, grasp, apprehend, master, or judge correctly. There are a few things apostolic people (spiritual builders) must understand to successful navigate a life full of “Faith, Focus, Crucifixion, and Resurrection” power. Let us look at a few:

(1) The Apostolic Person Understands Human Thinking and Reasoning is Insufficient.

(2) The Apostolic Person Relies on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Understand the Need to Press On.

(3) The Apostolic Know Enduring Hardship and Dying to the Flesh is Part of Learning Christ and Developing as Sons of God.

(4) The Apostolic Rely on the Scripture and Our God’s Power to Change and Empower.

(5) The Apostolic Understand the Body of Christ is built one son at a time.

The Apostolic Person Understands Human Thinking
and Reasoning is Insufficient.
A wise person (particularly the apostolic person) recognizes, understands, and admits that they do not know everything; they understand they are not perfected or fully matured with nothing else to learn. Wisdom is respecting the Truth that our God alone knows everything and wants to teach us as much as
we can bear (Hebrews 4:13; James 1:5; John 16:12).

Philippians 3:12 (KJV) Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend (lay hold of with the mind; to understand, perceive, learn, comprehend) that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus (seized upon, taken possession of by Christ by His holy power and influence laying hold of the human mind and will, in order to prompt and govern it).

In Philippians 3:12, the Apostle Paul acknowledges and admits he had not fully grasped the full counsel and purposes of our God for his life. The Scripture verifies the wisdom of this, telling us that the fear, or reverential respect for, and revelation knowledge of our God is the beginning of wisdom:

Proverbs 9:10 (NLT) Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.

The Apostle understood the believer’s need to consistently seek the mind and will of our God (in accordance to Scripture and Jesus), by His Holy Spirit. Walking in the wisdom and revelation knowledge of our God (in all things) requires we measure all by His character, nature, mind, will, power, and authority, as revealed in Jesus Christ.

The Apostolic Rely on the Gospel of Jesus
Christ and Understand the Need to Press On

Philippians 3:13-15 (KJV) 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Apostle Paul understood the need to press on in the face of adversity and trial. He understood the need to understand and learn from, yet forget the struggles and pain of yesterday. He depended fully on the guidance, protection, and provision of our God, in accordance to His Word, by His Holy Spirit (Philippians 4:19). He understood and made plain that Jesus Christ is Heaven’s Standard for Christian living (Hebrews 12:2).

The Apostle Paul walked in agreement with our Heavenly Father’s Gospel, recognizing Jesus Christ as the Firstborn of the sons of God (Romans 8:28-29). He understood and believed (as do all true apostles) he was also a son of the Most-High God (because of Christ), and embraced his need to follow and learn from Him (John 1:12).

The Apostolic Person Knows Enduring Hardship and
Dying to Flesh is Part of Learning Christ,
and Developing as Son of God
Jesus taught and the Apostle confirms that true believers must be willing to endure hardness with and for Christ (to include the crucifixion of the flesh), to grow in knowledge of Him, and walk in His wisdom and power.

Luke 9:23 (AMP) He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me (as My disciple), he must deny himself (set aside selfish interests), and take up his cross daily (expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come and follow Me, believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me).

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the
faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

2 Timothy 2:12-13 (AMP) 12 If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He will also deny us; 13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful (true to His word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself.

Romans 8:17 (AMP) If we are His children, then we are His heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ (sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance), if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.

The Apostolic Rely on the Scripture and Our God’s Power
to Change and Empower

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (AMP) 16 All Scripture is God breathed given by divine inspiration and is profitable for instruction, for conviction of sin, for correction of error and restoration to obedience, for training in righteousness (learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately; behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage); 17 so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Isaiah 55:11 states our God’s Word does not return to Him void, but accomplishes all His desire, in whom or to what He speaks. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us our God’s Word spoken in faith, provides instruction, convicts of sin, corrects err, restores obedience, trains in righteous living, and prepares, equips and supplies all that is needed to transform a life (their own and others).

The apostolic person understands this and therefore, speaks and lives our God’s Word with holy boldness. They do so because they understand the work of the kingdom is performed (not by the might and power of mere humans) by the faith of the sons of God, in accordance to His Word, BY HIS HOLY SPIRIT (Zechariah 4:6). Hallelujah!

The Apostolic Understand the Body of Christ is built
One Son at a Time.

1 Corinthians 12:27 (AMP) Now you collectively are Christ’s body, and individually you are members of it (each with his own special purpose and function).

The Apostle Paul encourages believers to understand the importance of each member of the Body of Christ, highlighting the Truth that each member has some gift profitable to the entire Body. The apostolic person understands the need to work together (in our God’s Love and Truth: John 4:23) with other members of the Body until we all reach maturity in our faith and love walks (Ephesians 1:1-6; 13).

We thank You for being Who You are. We love You and desire Your will be done, and Your kingdom come on earth, as it is in heaven. Thank You for filling us with Your revelation knowledge, with all spiritual understanding. Thank You for teaching us to walk in and out among one another, speaking Your Truth in Your Love, successfully building the Body of Christ, and furthering Your kingdom in the earth. Hallelujah!

Thank You for teaching us to build with Your Love, Faith, Word, and Holy Spirit. By faith in Your integrity and Your Word, we see the Body of Christ coming together in power and authority. Thank You for Jesus Christ, through Whom You have made this all possible. Use us for Your glory. We will give You the praise, the honor, and the glory; You and You alone deserve it all. We love You. We pray this prayer of thanksgiving, in Jesus name.

Amen, amen, and amen.

The Apostolic Operation of our God

Ephesians 4:7‐16 (NIV) 7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it says: “When He ascended on high, He took many captives and gave gifts to His people.” 9 What does “He ascended” mean except that He also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10 He who descended is the very One who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe. 11 So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

This is the written revelation of the heart, mind, plans, purposes, and methodology of our God. He has clearly provided believers with His plan for building and mobilizing the Body of Christ, individually and collectively.

NOTE: In response to the damnable doctrine that the apostles are no longer being added to the Body of Christ by our God, ask the spiritual common sense question, “Is the Body of Christ built up; are we unified in our faith and knowledge of the Son of God; are we mature reflecting the full stature of Jesus Christ? No; then apostles and all of the five fold ministry are still being added to the Body by our God!

Our God gives five-fold ministers the grace, gifts and tools to complete their assignments in the building and mobilizing of the Body of Christ. Whenever I hear the word apostle or apostolic, the terms building and mobilizing come to heart. The early church was an apostolic church that built and moved (meeting together in smaller groups; then coming together to hear their leaders). All believers, every ministry and church should be moving apostolically; we should all understand that we are co-laborers with our God, working toward a common goals: fighting the same enemies, winning souls, and developing leaders, as we build the Body of Christ together, according to the specifications revealed in the Person of Jesus Christ.

Whether one stands in the “five‐fold” grace gift of an apostle, or flows as a part of an apostolic team, they should understand the ultimate purpose and goal of ministry is building the Body by winning souls, speaking the truth in love, developing strong disciples, training and releasing leadership into service for our Lord. This is the operation of building the Body.

Jesus Christ, The Author and Finisher of our Faith at Work

Let us take a look at our Chief Apostle; Let us follow Him in the Scripture
1. Sent by God (to do His will, His way)
2. Gathered His men
3. Taught them, getting them rooted and grounded in our God’s truth; taught them about the Kingdom
4. Watched over them, teaching, guiding, correcting and encouraging them to bring them to maturity
5. Leadership training: Built their confidence, teaching them to walk in the grace, authority, and power that was on His own life.
6. Sent them out 2 by 2 to do the things He did (Mark 6:7: He gave them authority over evil spirits).
7. Encouraged them to take all they learned and been commanded by Him to the nations, and to  keep the pattern going (Matthew 28:18-20)

Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith, our Chief Apostle has shown us the apostolic process of building the Body of Christ. This is Ephesians 4; 7-16 in operation. Jesus, who has the Holy Spirit without measure ( John 3:34) embodied the five fold ministry, using all grace given to Him to get believers rooted and grounded in God’s Truth and the reality of His kingdom, trained as leaders, and released them into service. Ephesians 4:7 tells us He dispenses this grace among His people, so that we can continue the pattern.

We understand that the Apostle Paul had clear revelation of the Apostolic operation, as he writes Ephesians 4, (may we sees as Paul sees). We see Paul following  Jesus’s apostolic pattern, as He speaks to Timothy:

2 Timothy 2:1-2 (KJV) Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Apostolic Grace
We understand that all we are, all we achieve and gather is by the grace of our God:

Ephesians 2:8 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Our God never leaves us alone in this process. Trailblazing new paths, rooting up unsound and establishing sound doctrine, furthering the Gospel, building and mobilizing the Body of Christ, and governing the spirit realm are distinguishing characteristics of apostolic ministry:
• His grace (His Loving help to be and do that which is impossible for us; 2 Corinthians 12:9).
• The revelation knowledge of His character, Love, nature, Word (Scripture and Jesus), and the power, authority, and His Holy Spirit (Hebrews 1:3).
• The revelation knowledge of what a manifested son of God should look like (Jesus Christ; Romans 8:28-29)

Our God has ordained, that apostolic service flow from His revelation knowledge of the Gospel of His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Apostolic people have revelation of Jesus The Christ, The Blueprint for the Body of Christ and knows He is what believers should look in their character and thinking, both individually and collectively. They are about the Father’s business, His way (Ephesians 4).

As one of our God’s watchmen, I see Him restoring the framework, authority, and power of the five-fold ministry. All believers should be taught to follow this pattern, understanding this is clearly our God’s plan and He will have His way. His word does not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11).

Let us ask God to help us make full use of the grace He reveals in us and in those around us
• Speaking His Truth in His Love
• Watching and praying for one another
• Praying for and encouraging one another in the faith and service to our Lord

Our God provides THE BIG PICTURE, reflected in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, so that we are equipped to serve successfully! Ministry is so much more than me, my four, my church, my denomination and no more. It is time for the Body of Christ to arise, in Jesus name!
